I'm a new poster to these boards but have been following them for a while

Rainforest, the navy dress dress is gorgeous, what name/number is it on the site? (tried to quote your post but couldn't )

I really like one of the dresses on ebay too but couldn't find it on their site for more pictures and have no idea of make or style or anything to start searching!?

Any help would be great!

Eivissa I would advise to sit down with a cuppa and have a good look through Landy's site. Try the bridesmaid section aswell as there might be something a little different on their. The site is huge and I haven't been through the whole thing yet, but I have found my dream dress and I'm sure you will aswell. Hth and maybe someone with a better idea will be along soon to help aswell, Tiger x

Thanks Tigerlilly, I think I'll start searching through, there are just so many to choose from!

The other thing I'm a bit worried about is that if i take my measurements now and get the dress made I'm hoping to loose a bit of weight b4 the wedding, not much but if it is custom made it might not fit as well??

I would dub it 'fair maiden' dress... when i would hear a fairy tale 'once upon a time, there lived a fair maiden..' I always imagined that's the kind of dress she was wearing... so light and romantic...

They dont always have all the dresses from the site on ebay and vice versa! I would agree with Tiger, just look through the site, there are thousands of dresses there. I prefer to browse by designer category, because it sort of gives you idea if you like their style or not. I am sure you will find your dream one!

OMG!!!! My dress has arrived. Ordered it from Landy on 12th feb and they didnt recieve the order for a few days - got lost in the pile but I phoned Ivan and sent all my details again via email and today it has arrived!!!! I havent tried it on yet - will do that later. It looks good, well sewn and is quite heavy!! The beading looks great and oh I'm just soooo excited I just had to let you all know!!!

Once you have tried it on can you let me know what the boning, corsetry inside is like, my dress isn't arriving until 15th April so I am trying to prepare as much in advance and am going to buy an underbust corset.

What material is your dress etc.

I feel excited for you it must be great feeling know you have it and that its what you expected. I hope that mine will be okay as wedding on 24th April so not much time for alterations etc.
