Congrats minxy:)
I ordered my dress at the end of march, and went for a lace up back, I can't wait for it to arrive.
I'm planning on losing a few pounds before the wedding (not too much though), and im hoping the lace up back will mean I don't need to get it adjusted.0 -

If you PM me your email address, hun, I'll send you some pics of me trying on the dress for the first time.
But I'm going on honeymoon in 6 hours so you'd best do it quick LOL

I sort of expected the wedding party to love the dress (because they kind of have to say nice things, don't they?) but our evening reception was on one floor of a three floor restaurant/bistro/bar place and the other two floors were open to the general public. I don't think it's solely that the Geordies are a lovely bunch of people but men and women were stopping me to say congratulations and to say how fantastic my dress was. No one could believe it didn't cost a couple of grand!
So if you are thinking of ordering from Landy but are worried that the dress might be of inferior quality in any way, please rest assured that it will surpass your wildest dreams!
I will post some pics when I come back from honeymoon - as no one has even emailed me any yet - how rude!! lol
xxxx
Congratulations!!
Glad you had a wonderful day and that everyone loved your dress.
Have a fantastic honeymoon, look forward to seeing some pics on your return

Hi - yes, that's the corset I got
In all honesty - the waist pulling in in MAGIC!! Seriously, I had a shape that I never saw since before my youngest 2 kids :rotfl: BUT, for an E cup, I would recommend a structured cup type. I'm an F and it had my boobs up at my chin when I sat down, which sooo wasn't a good look. So I am going to order the underbust corset instead and have a strapless bra.
The company are great though, delivery was within 24 hours of my order.
Hi Louise
Did your underbust corset arrive, I am thinking of doing the same so just wondered what you thought of it.

Actually this may well have saved my wedding - I'm a plus size, so finding something to wear was always going to be hard, but they actually DO my size on there - and since I don't want a massive dress, there are a couple of bridesmaid-type ones that may well be do-able for me if I can't track down what I really want, which is an ivory wideleg trouser dealie and top that covers my arms in my size (I'm still holding onto my hope of not having to wear a dress or skirt at all)Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0

Thanks chardonnay, I've emailed asking about that dress but am still waiting for a reply.
What colour have people been going with? I like ivory or dark ivory, but has anyone gone with champagne?

Dont you think you could find a dress you like? If you like trousers, then why not, but if deep inside you want a dress then you must keep on looking, I have sever plus size brides look fantastic in a dress!! Im getting a jacket to go with my dress BTW, cos i dont want my shoulders and arms open.
Best of luck!
PS here's some ideas
