Last time I wore a dress or skirt the charming year 6 kids I used to teach (they were sweeties but didn't suffer fools gladly) looked me up and down and asked me why I wasn't in in my normal clothes. I fear if I wear a dress I'll spill something down it (my boobs are magnets for things if I wear light coloured clothes) or spend all day being annoyed by it and I'd rather be laid back and relaxed. Evans had a beautiful white wide-leg trouser and lacy wrap over top thing I loved - but they only do limited sizes and mine's not one of them - typical.

Hi Eivissa I am going to get my dress in Ivory, although after more looking over the weekend I am now unsure about the dress I posted and have found another one lol. I would be really interested to see some pics of dresses in ivory if anyone has ordered one, just to get an idea of how dark the ivory is. I will post the number of the other one I like when I find it agaiin, Tiger x

oh..ok,sorry about that , now i get..this was the only place i got into when i tried to find out about landy bridal and saw peoples contributions and so on..and then i recommended that. didnt know !! i am trying to order from landy my self and was looking for more info

Hi guys, firstly congrats Minxy_bella on getting hitched!

Ok details - I tried the dress on and OMG!!!! its beautiful and only needs to be taken in slightly under the arms and my mum said she can do that easily (I always have to have that done!). The quality is amazing and stitching is fab. I showed it to a friend whoused to work in a bridal place and she was impressed by it.

Unfortunately I wasnt able to take pics of it on cos I was in a rush and hair was a mess etc! Anyway I shall over the next couple of days take some pics of the details and post them on here. I was shocked at how small the parcel was when it arrived and obviously cant fit it back in there again so its in a big box till nearer the time... only 103 days to go!!!!!!

Can you tell I'm getting a little excited?????

I took a few pics of my Landy dress, it's the light ivory colour. Haven't got any of me wearing it yet because I want to get a couple of alterations done (the train is just too long for me to handle lol) I wanted a simple dress with the princess-type skirt. It sticks out more once the petticoat is on.:D

It came with satin ribbon for round the waist, but I don't think it needs it
