Has anyone bought the colour chart from Landy? If so, how long did it take to come?
I'm not sure whether it will be better buying one b4 hand or whether the pics of the fabric are clear enough...what do you think? I don't really want it yellowy or peachy...HELP!

Hi Eivissa, I was wondering that aswell. Didn't want to waste the money on the chart lol!! I am totally of the same view as you, I don't want yellow or peachy either. The light ivory looks ok from the pics Louise put on. Hi ladies
I have also bought the colour chart, it took about 3 wks to come but I think I caught the end of Chinese New Year.
I've found it really useful and think its well worth the cost, my fiance was horrified at the price (with the delivery) but I think it was worth ever penny.
I liked the fact I could carry it round and show it to relatives and friends.

Hello All - Been reading this thread for a while to get an opinion on Landy to order a flowergirl dress for my brothers wedding in July. Have just bitten the bullet and done it but now im really nervous. I havent seen the dress only by the photos its HT0173 and we just wanted a plain dress with a coloured sash im worried that this isnt. Also I have put in the comments bit the size and colour because I couldnt see anywhere else - is this right for flowergirl dresses? And finally the confirmation said 9 weeks till delivery when it says 5 on their site, wee have time but it will be cutting fine.
I hope you dont mind me posting but as its not my wedding I just wanted some advice from you lovely people.
Thanks in advance
Kate

I've just read this on an australian forum...
"The Ivory is a slight off white in real life and the Dark Ivory is more of a creamy colour (which matches a lot of the "ivory" dresses at raffaele ciuca).....the dark ivory is missing from my colour chart..."
If that is any help?! I'm gonna have a proper look tonight and see what I can find, I just think it seems a bit of a waste buying the swatch chart when I only want to know about 4/5 colours...I'll keep you all posted!
xx

That's great Eivissa. If you find out how dark the burgundy is let me know, thinking of buying bridesmaids dresses from here aswell. I do totally agree it is very expensive for 4/5 colours. When that money can be spent on something else. xMarried the most amazing man 05/12/09 and it was the best day ever, I'm a Mrs, he he!!:jWins 2009: Peroni Alessi bowl woohoo, 1 in 10 wins DVD from Maltesers, Avon lippy!!!Freebies-Bold Gel, CoffeePinecone Research - £9Mystery Shopping - £150

The dress I have ordered is in the dark ivory (no 4), when it arrives (hopefully Tuesday) I'll let you know and post a picture for you all.
I was going to go for the champaign but thought it was more beige looking than gold so opted for the dark ivory instead as I think its better for my skin tone and hair colouring.
I didn't have the colour swatch, but Boyzone very kindly gave me her advice on what the colours were like. Thanks again Boyzone.

ooh kate that dress is gorgeous. could u choose what colour ribbon u wanted aswell? why dont u email and ask if you're worried about the style or the timing? What matters most is how well you walk through the fire0 -
I would order a chart only if it was different fabrics in 'bridal' colours like satin, chiffon, organza, lace swatch in white/shades of ivory/champagne instead of all other colours... So have to be guessing...
In the satin swatch pictures some fabrics look more shiny then others... is it just the pictures?0
