Link worked for me. Dress looks nice - as said many times, it#s up to the individual if they want to take a chance.0

I have used Landy for about 3 years but their quality recently has nosedived and their options for rectifying mistakes are unacceptable.
My most recent order took forever to come and is terrible. The beadwork bleeds colour when you touch it and it is going to cost around £200 to repair. They refuse to refund the dress, only offered for my to pay shipping to return it and they would replace the beads but there is no time at all and I no longer trust them!
I would advise to avoid!0 -
Hello all I ordered a whole bunch of things from landybridal and have a very mixed reaction.
I ordered two shrugs from them, one was custom and was beautiful, the other was from the picture on their website and it is horrible, does not fit and was not the same fabric as the picture.
The flowergirl dress was the most beaaaaaaaaautiful little dress you have ever seen and an excellent quality.
Then comes my wedding dress. I gave them a custom design based on one of their dresses. I really laboured the point and thought we were clear but now, even though I paid extra for a custom dress they basically just sent me one of their standard dresses.
I am so angry and I want to cry, there is plenty of time, the wedding is next year but still. I thought I was a laid back person, but I am really emotional about this.
My mother is like 'Oh, just be grateful, they sent you a nice dress, stop moaning' - yes, its quite a nice dress they sent, but that's not what I ordered.
I will update on what happens next.0 -
Hello - just updating you. I chatted to the online help person and they said to send pictures of the dress.
When I first posted I had not yet tried it on and now it was clear that there were parts that did not fit properly and some of the 'loops' in the corset part had been missed out. the quality was quite poor and it was clearly a rush job. I showed it to my cousin and she said there is no way I can wear that dress - it looks homemade.
I sent the emails and got a very vague reply back.
Basically they are saying, 'yeah, thats the way it is, it was impossible to make it the way you wanted'. I managed to find a picture online showing them that yes, it is quite possible and that the dress you sent me is satin and I asked for tulle and further, if you could not make it why did you say you could and accept my order.
My fiance said in a worst case scenario we will just get another dress, budget be dashed and we will find the money somehow.0 -
Ah, boo. Went on the Landy Bridal website today to see if the dress I wanted to buy was still there, and they've changed the whole site! Not only has my dream dress disappeared, but the dresses are all about £100 more expensive than they were. Grrr. Now to find a new dress.Wins: Stairgate worth £27.99 and ViewSonic Monitor worth £129 = £156.99/2015, hoping to win a car!0

Hi Steph, I've noticed that too, if you made a note of the code on Landybridal, you may be able to type it into google and find another website. Hope that helps!
I went on there this morning and found my Justin Alexander dress gone. So disappointing as it was an absolute bargain and I agree about the prices going up. Wonder why?0 -

Exchange rates have an effect also, depending where the fabrics come from. Not always China. HTH x0 -
Im new here.
I am having a dilemia about the dress!
Im interested in a dress from landy, but have heard mixed reviews lately, have they gone down hill?
My fave dress is from blessed dress on ebay, but they havent been going as long as Landy, and i havent read as many reviews so not sure what the quality is like. But they have high rating 99.2% 130 reviews over a year . Has anyone used them?0 -
Hiya,
I have just found out that there are two seperate companies. Landy-bridal seems to have disappeared off the net and there's Landybridal who claime the latter copied them....
I have been liasing with landy-bridal about my bridemaids dresses and am gutted that I will have to start all over again. I had an email conversation with landybridal and I'm not too hopeful. If anyone can suggest some companies who can help i would really appreciate it.0 -
Hi,
Habve you tried lightinthebox? Or dhgate? Or ioffer? All are china wholesale sites but they do wedding/bridesmaid dresses. Just browsing through their stuff now. Plus on the last two you can "make an offer" kinda like what Ebay does. Hope that helps someone.x0
