beautiful dress. That was the very first dress with purple I ever said wow at.Saw it on the Alfred Angelo site right back when I stated my purple dress hunt.
It looks really well made, the details are fantastic, the colour I love obviously.

  • I ordered my Dress from Lundy Bridal, although I don't get married until next year I really was worried about it so ordered well in advance, it arrived in a small packet no bigger than a laptop which was a bit off putting, when I opened it I was mortified, it was dreadfull going on some of the comments and reviews I was expecting something wonderful, but what I got was a rag. I am going into the shop where I saw the dress originally and ordering it as I now, firmly believe that you definately get what you pay for.

Also I do know about quality of fabrics and their fabrics are not and neither is the workmanship, sorry but I feel that I should warn you to be very careful, and I'm glad I didn't spend anymore than £150

A friend of mine ordered of the internet but I am not sure which company she used.
She was soooooo upset when the dress arrived, it was in a jiffy bag and it was rubbish.
She went to a local bridal shop to see if they could do anything with it or if she could buy a petticoat, in the shop she tried on a 'proper dress' and that was it, :jshe bought it there and then. It was a million times better than the one she had sent away for and she said the service she received was amazing.
She now tells every bride-to-be that she meets never to order of the internet, you only get what you pay for!!! :T

Isn't that amazing, so many happy people on here who have, on the whole, had great dresses arrive from Landy and then two unhappy newbies appear at once!

So, I will take both posts with a BIG pinch of salt.

Twinkletoe - you don't even seem to remember that the company is called Landy, not Lundy. If you really did have a dress arrive in such a state, please show us a photo of it and let us decide if you are believable.

Nevschick, similarly if you are genuine then a picture of your friend's dodgy dress would be really interesting to see, plus one of what your friend ended up buying.

If both of you really want to help on this thread, then that is the way to get your stories taking seriously!
