Oh you daft daft lot I love you all!:D

I'm a little befuddled...
There's them that don't...I am a member of the mis matched pegs revolutionary progressive collective.
Our mission is not to have matching pegs (matching pegs either colour coded or in a succession of colour matches indicates a deficiency in vitamin D):Ddenisefowler wrote: »Don't ask, and if anyone mentions them, stay well clear, you may be dragged into a world that you never knew existed... a sad, weird little world that the rest of us try to ignore, but it is real, it exists, and to know of it is scary enough...:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Several of us are members of an illustrious group started by (I believe) Valli and Tag. We KNOW by having matching pegs (or at least sets of matching pegs) we can colour co-ordinate our washing lines thereby giving us a sense of order and calm as we fly
Personally, I have 3 colours of pegs for my 3 sided rotary washing line - others have one complete set of matching pegs (I believe there may be a plan afoot to convert me!!!)
Feel free to start slowly - a matching pair of pegs for each item will do - and build it up from there
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
And where did the Madam bit come from?(It's Miss
)
So, I'm just gonna say hello to all the newbies we have. Lots and lots of potential recruits, with one already expressing interest without a prompt by Valli or myself:D
And them that DO!
I particularly loved this....Wait for it...............................someone's going to bite any minute now.:DNaughty, naughty Triker!!:p
See!!!:p:rotfl:
(Cos I like fishing too;) )...I'd love to see Triker up against Studentphil...

Do I have to take sides? Loyalty suggests I ought stick with Valli (she makes me blush)
The rebel in me is longing to MisMatch my pegs... even if they are entirely hypothetical:p:p:p

Mine are mismatched although i do have a system of how things are pegged on the line:o .

Oh b*ll*cks pigpen - sorry, can't think of anything else to say. Massive hugs though xx
Lil-me - hope your arm is ok, ouch!!
Michelle - I love the cake, is there any left for to share? xx
DD (9) is being a little nightmare. So rude all the time and has had three time outs tonight. I can see the coming years are going to be fun, fun, fun! DS even came to give me a cuddle at one point and to tell me that he still loved me. Bless their little hearts!!!! Agghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
I've done squillions today but done my own list; walking puppy, walking older dog (makes it easier to stop puppy pulling), hospice (what have I got to moan about!!!), cleaned out larder in kitchen (the floor was KNEE DEEP in carp!); vaccummed all downstairs and scraped stairs. I am rather tired!!!!
Hoping for an early night but don't know if i'll get one.
Speak soon xx0 -
right... wine oclock i think.
My back is killing so think i'll be grabbing a hot water bottle.
Supposed to be out all day tomorrow... think i might skip it tho and try and catch up with the list.
DS2 in bed, DS1 following shortly.... I am going to vegetate on the settee tonight... do naff all, then off to bed with my book for an early night.
Yeah, that sounds like a plan to me!An' It Harm None, Do As Thou Will
MACAW... EAT BETTER, no snacks, no junk0 -
(Cos I like fishing too;) )...I'd love to see Triker up against Studentphil...
Done that ages ago, he doesn't like me because I asked if he was my brother as my brother has no personality and clearly has communication issues......for some reason he got a bit tetchy about it.;):DDFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

More feeling generally chuffed as the flat gets sparklier. Mopped the floor and it didn't look any different. So I scrubbed it. Bucket of water went a satisfying grey colour... it's come to something when I find myself proudly recounting on the internet about the filthy state I let the flat get into!!!

Pigpen - there's nothing we can really say about a day like that, except that we're here if you need us (mind you, I expect Toots' comment about you being a granny might have distracted you briefly
)
Toots - please provide some evidence of having made progress towards getting your carpet down... like number of items posted on ebay
Valli - you sound happier today. I thought the talk of pegs might cheer you up
Tom - looks like you might manage to entice Valli away from her fixation on Johnny Depp :rolleyes: . And back to the point of the thread... as far as the oven goes, don't try to get it sparkling all in one go. I've just wiped mine down once a week for the past two months, and it's pretty much sorted (OK, so there may have been a bit of elbow grease involved on occasion, but certainly no serious effort)
If any of you are doing the 'never turn the heating on again' challenge, be sensible please. When I came in to the house, the thermometer said 13 degrees... as far as I was concerned it was FREEZING... now I'm out of my work clothes and wearing a fleece, have done some ironing and a few other bits, I'm warm enough, although I do know that if I sit still for a long time, this will be far too cold. So as I'm working from home tomorrow, I'll need the heating on at some point.0
