Pigpen - Have you ever considered becoming a screenwriter? With how eventful you life is you'd never run out of plot ideas ;) *Huge big squishy hugs*

Went on my course today, it got cut shorter, and they've given us homework to do. THEN less than an hour after I leave the place I got a text message asking if I could make it to another workshop tomorrow :mad: Its the school hols, I'm knackered and I've already put my timesheet in for this week so I'm not going to go. On top of that my mum isn't feeling 100% and DD isn't feeling too good either so I'm going to try and hibernate tomorrow and study.

Flying wise, I've done nothing. My kitchen looks a right mess, my livingroom isn't too bad but I haven't got the energy to tackle it tonight. I was going to sit and study tonight here at the computer, but its so cold and I'm so tired I'm going to take the stuff to bed with me now and see if I can manage to get anything done from the warmth and comfort of my bed before I fall asleep ;) Mind you, if it wasn't for this thread I couldn't treat my room as a sanctuary :o:rotfl::rotfl:

Hope to be able to catch up with you all properly at some point

Could I just ask you lovely ladies (and is there gents here now as well? I can't keep track so if there are I'm sorry! :o:p ) your opinion on this :

I've bought DD a dancemat for her PS1 (theres actually 2 mats, there normal and the "pro" one  ) from a charity shop (£1 bargain :money::D ) but there was no game. I was thinking of getting her this bundle to finish off her Xmas hamper...she's 7 but loves dancing and singing... do you think it would be suitable and good value? Bundle of 7 games Its got to work out cheaper than buying her a wii :rotfl::rotfl:

And todays saga.... Can I hibernate for the next 3 months please??

    1. my pregnant sister has decorated the kitchen and has stripped the hallway today.. naughty sister!!
    2. It was my mothers elderly neighbours funeral today.. THEN...... oh it gets better!!

    3. on my way to school my mother rang me.. I thought she was laughing but she was nigh on hysterical.. turns out my stepdad had rang her saying his youngest brother had been killed...

THEN... oh yes there is more!!

    4. I get home from the school run after battling the geriatrics in the post office.. next time their zimmers get it..

DS1 is sitting on the doorstep with 3 questions/issues

    1. can I have some money
    2. I've been suspended and you have to go into see the principal
    3. can he and the pregnant gf move in.

My friend has her appointment for her colposcopy next week..

Todays good news... my house still has a roof!!!!!!!

See, always a silver lining... :rotfl:

I'm sorry to hear about your SD's brother though, hugs to you all, especially your SD and mum... and I hope your sister is OK - gave you a scare a while ago didn't she - maybe you should tie her to an armchair for a while...

When you have a bad week, you certainly decide to go the whole hog don't you - do you have a shed in the garden that you can run an extension lead to for your DS & girlfriend? was contemplating doing that for my DD before my mum took pity on me and took her in... :D We may have killed each other if not...
