Pigpen - there's nothing we can really say about a day like that, except that we're here if you need us (mind you, I expect Toots' comment about you being a granny might have distracted you briefly ;))

It has to be easier being a grandma than being a mum!!! lol..

  • Had a fantastic monday, followed your list and nearly attacked everything on it :j

Well so much for my cunning plan, for getting loads done today. Buses ganged up on me and didn't turn up, so ds was late for english lesson. Took ages to do "bits" in town, and then queued up for the non existent bus home, then two arrived at same time. (I am sure there is an old joke about that) Had plans to get kitchen done this afternoon but that backfired, phone did nothing but ring, tried to sort out cover for the Brownies group that follows my Rainbows, but couldn't rouse a soul to do it with me, so they had to cancel it. Then my partner for Rainbows said that she didn't think she could make it and could we cancel........ Girls were looking forward to party so, had to ring round and beg a body to help (thank goodness for one of our mums), by the time that was sorted all i had time to do was post ebay parcel and make a shepherd pie.

I have wiped down the sides in the kitchen and the table:o
(I did attack the kitchen well last week....honest:p)

But tomorrow is another day...... and i WILL feel bright eyes and bushy tailed in the morning:D
My finances are work in progress.
    Normal veiwing will resume shortly

    1 box re-located
1 large box decanted into 2 smaller more manageable boxes and they too have been re-located!
I am currently trying to wrap a 3 foot giraffe that was grazing in the bedroom - called rif raf - was going to sell him on ebay but decided my cousin's daughter's wee boy who's 2 would probably like him - so he will be wrapped and sent off tomorrow with 3 more ebay things that have been paid for and 1 book - so progress is being made - and if you have caught up on the thread you will see that I totally did the kitchen including reclaiming the table!!!

ok back to rif raf and then back to the bedroom for an hour!!

    toots xx
    Peace will be mine
