Always a silver lining.. I have 'pollyanna syndrome' .. I like to moan but I can always find something 'to be glad about'

My sis is just a pest!! I am going to drop in on her tomorrow after I pick tiddles up.. or I may just leave her at nursery all day.. again..

I don't do things by halves and he and hubby hate each other.. I just don't feel it is right to say now they can't they have to stay somewhere afterall and she is used to dogsbodying..

Perhaps if you wait until christmas eve and they still have nowhere to live and a donkey appears, and a big star, whatever you do, let them in.:D

Could I just ask you lovely ladies (and is there gents here now as well? I can't keep track so if there are I'm sorry! :o:p ) your opinion on this :

I've bought DD a dancemat for her PS1 (theres actually 2 mats, there normal and the "pro" one  ) from a charity shop (£1 bargain :money::D ) but there was no game. I was thinking of getting her this bundle to finish off her Xmas hamper...she's 7 but loves dancing and singing... do you think it would be suitable and good value? Bundle of 7 games Its got to work out cheaper than buying her a wii :rotfl::rotfl:

Definitely cheaper than the wii but to be honest Nicki I think that's quite pricey really. I know its a few games but each game has quite a few tracks on so a couple would probably be plenty. I know the kids i worked with only had one or two games each. Best thing might be to look out in charity shops for individual games (i'll keep my eyes peeled too) and I'd even try freecycle as its the kind of thing a lot of kids go through a phase of doing....

  • Wow Nikki, you've done great - take it easy, don't want you getting tired and wearing more than your knees out... take care hon x

thanks Den :) its easier to do loads when my knees are killing than when they arent cos I know they arent gonna get any worse, and I have to get the kitchen done on tuesdays cos its my MrT delivery night so it all has to be sorted ready.

Fingers crossed DS won't want me to be in his marching band again tomorrow so I can rest a bit then. Other than the bathroom (which I'll only do if I've got the energy ;) ) I'm pretty much done for the week now so yippee :j :D
