If I have wine now will it

    a. make me feel warmer - it's cold sitting here, and I have 20 more pages of this document to comment on
    b. make it easier to get up in the morning - seeing as I missed my swim today... (yes Valli, I know it was a feeble excuse, but I really didn't feel like putting a wet swimming costume on at 6am  ) ... I have to go to the gym tomorrow morning as I train with a friend on wednesdays and can't get out of it

Or should I just do a bit of ironing and tidy the kitchen to keep warm? It's a tough call... home all day tomorrow, but somehow I suspect work will keep me too busy to get much done in the house.

Oh yes... and you're all mad... just in case no one has noticed :D
  • Well...finally finished my night shifts and today I'm feeling absolutely shattered as I didn't go to bed when I got home this morning. I didn't feel too motivated today as a result. I have however managed to:

Hoover lounge and hallway (although it was done yesterday, it needed another going over)
Sorted a load of bits to put on ebay and some other bits to boot sale

DH did all the ironing for me last night, which was a bit of a shock:eek: bless him, so I put all that away also.

Not a very productive day today, but then, as they say, tomorrow is another day.

    Evening ladies,

Pigpen, sorry to hear of you're traumatic day, I hope you're sister's baby doesn't make an early appearence anytime soon.

Mudbath - I removed the laminate in our hallway to expose the original quarries underneath - they hardly ever look dirty.

Greenbee - I relented today and put the heating on for an hour just before bedtimes to heat the house up a bit but it's off now and the kids are in bed, might light the log fire in the living room if I feel cold in there.

Just going to do a little bit of mending and then off to bed I think - early nights mean less need for heating.

Thanks lil_me - I was starting to worry that I was getting a bit obsessive about the floor but I could defintely see me doing twice a day when it's wet. The hairs are fun aren't they.....the good thing about dalmatian hair is that it's very short so it doesn't stick to clothes....just falls off it in a cloud around you.

I'm for an early night. I've got tomorrow off so i'm going to take the dogs to a park near my mums and let them play with her dog. They had a ball today especially daft pup...those festering leaves at the bottom of the muddly puddle were such great fun for her to finally understand what recall means!!! Bless her - keeping me sane.

Hugs to everyone who needs them and double gin or whatever tipple for piggers. I'm glad this computer isn't smelly vision....jee.....one of them needs a trip outside!!!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

CS just realised I forgot to email you re the T Shirts I am so sorry :o, will scoot to it now, can I get you a wine or grolsch whilst I am sorting it?

Thank you, but I've already got a gin & tonic lined up to help me through the ironing.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times and I'll smash your face in. :D
