Evening everyone.
Well not much flying done here. I slept like a log and didnt wake up till 9am.
After breakfast it took me a while to sort out my heating and hot water.
Then off to see mum and do my meeting and greeting.
Luckily I did most of the house at the end of last week so it wont take much catching up on.
S&sed tonight and done 1 wm load.

Pigpen - my thoughts and prayers are with your stepdad. I know what it is like to lose a younger brother unexpectedly - I have tears in my eyes now thinking about it."There's only one way of life and that's your own" - Levellers

oh yeah.. and have God beating down my door asking for his son back and taking us to court for access.. then I'll have men that think they know everything bringing tin foil and crinkled gold paper and bloody shepherds dumoing sheep in my front room.. just what I need!!!
Before you know it you have Gabriel and his hollering harem and half a barnyard!

We're at the pee clinic tomorrow too pigpen
full of fun aren't they.....not....
Hubby is NOT impressed with the idea of them living here..
froddy, thanks for being nice to me ((hugs for you aswell)) but please stop reminding us about half term!!!
nicki that looks like a great idea! I think it's a pretty good price if they're all in good condition.
greenbee I am trying to reduce usage at home, especially compared to DPs messing about last year when he was parading round in just shorts turning the heating up full. However I won't be silly with it. If I want it on I will put it on, I won't let the kids be uncomfortably cold,
Mudbath, I wash the floor once a day when dry, twice when wet. I vacuum 2-3 times a day usually because of the woof hair. Towels next to the door are good for woof paws and make the humans take shoes off their paws.
boddy thank you for asking, it's about the same, weird as I can't see any bruise at all...I would have thought there would be bruises...won't let it get in my way however.
Right, caught up a little (I ain't even been gone that long!!) I have collected DS2, he's being invested on the 4th of November at Beavershe's ever so chuffed as he wants to earn badges! Just hope his sweater comes in stock in time.....Anyway, not done much else but did pop to the shop for mushrooms (mine had gone manky, I wondered what the smell was in the fridge, bleurgh!!!) and need to make some dinner for me and DP. I need a shower, deciding if I should now or later....
One day I might be more organised...........

Evening ladies.
Thanks for all the cake compliments. Hex it was the lakeland tin. It was £25, but it was dead easy to do and it came with instructions to grease and then dust the tin with flour, so it worked well. It was quite time consuming to decorate, but well worth it. I'm making it again this weekend for his party at home, that was for his london party.
This is the cake i made for nephews birthday a couple of weeks ago:
dead easy to make and quick to decorate. I made charlie the equivalent of this to take to nursery today. Our household favourite bought cake is the chocolate caterpillar one too. we had that for his 1st birthday.;)
I managed a few bits today:- WM – 2 x dark loads, 1 x bibs at 60, 1 x cot buddies bumper on hand wash cycle
- 1 x big airer unloaded, stuff folded and away or on ironing
- Uploaded pictures to facebook
- Sorted a pile of receipts, shredded them plus bits on top of shredder
- Ran sterilizer/sorted baby bottles
- Washed up breakie/lunch stuff
- Prepared pizza dough in BM
- Sorted and cleaned a large Boots bag of toys for friend who is starting to child mind – that means going through 4 toy boxes, cleaning and putting back more orderly
- Found some paper/card for recycling
- picked ds1 up from nursery
I also found time to watch the peg video :rotfl: and i think i might need to join the peggies too, and as all my pegs are wooden  they match. I definitely hang my stuff like that.
jill nice to 'see' you again. Good to hear you are ok
pigpen sorry today has been a bit naff to say the least, tomorrow is another hopefully better day. I can't believe how quick you are racking up the posts.
right, off to spend 10 mins with DH before he leaves, as i won't see him again till Friday - and as our anniversary is tomorrow i should at least leave the computer for that long - see you all later. x0
