Beccah - why not freecycle the chest of drawers - would save you a trip to the tip and much more eco friendly too.

Consultation went ok. Time for swimming now.

Justamum I have not made clothes from scratch since my school days but this is giving me the bug. Showed the half I've done to DS1 (14) and he said wow you are clever very professional - praise indeed!

I am a huge free-cycle fan and would much rather that it went to a good home, but the chest is rather wonky and a little too flexible after darling little sis and nephews attacked it so I didn't think we'd have too many takers. I was hoping to free-cycle the wardobe as its a lovely deco-ish solid wood one, but the workforce ( dad and brother) have said it may well have to be smashed up to even get it out of the bedroom. Its such a shame as I much prefer to pass those things on.

g&b she might be fine with the milk but with my kids they curdled it internally when they had tummy bugs, yuk. Fish tanks over ran with snails so needs emptying and restarting, bought new stones ages ago for it.

Christmasshopper, sorry to hear of your disappointment. I'd love to be able to maxmise points I never get more than a few hundred, I just can't see how people do it.

Well my HHC went on a bit, I decided to empty the airing cupboard, yes another open/close fast or get injured one. Well I dug it all out and came across a pile of Thomas bedding so took that all over to Matthew's as his Mam is doing him a Thomas room. Fling fling fling...but in a good recycling way :D It looks all organised now and will be able to put away the pile of linen and towels I couldn't get in before. Offered the old vax on Freecycle, doesn't pump water out at the mo so no use to me but someone could use it as a vacuum cleaner or replace the pump (looks like an easy job but I wanted an upright one :o ) so that'll be another fling when it's gone. EEEEEEK just remembered half the bits are in the last 'don't open that door or move the sofa' cupboard, at the back, hmmm, tomorrows mission, or maybe once the kids have gone to bed.

DS2 at beavers at 6pm, must remember his form. Trying to decide what to do to fill in my time in the middle.

Oh, I am sure you're all careful but please be aware of Freecycle scams going where they offer items (seems to be consoles, DVDs and games so far) but ask you to send postage money (commonly £5) of course, it never arrives and many others have sent money too. Pity such a good thing is abused by these morons.
One day I might be more organised...........

Yuk indeed! She hasnt been sick since this morning which is nice:p Has had half a weetabix and 2 dry crackers. Thought she was looking brighter earlier but she went all pale again and is now conked out on the sofa. Obviously needs the sleep, she looks adorable.
