sarah.. if she understands 'punishment' and 'consequences' I'd say she was not allowed to stay hot dinners for 'X' amount of time.. I'd also send a note into school each week saying what days she can and cannot stay hot dinner and I wouldn't be paying it either.. they should have a list of children who are staying dinner and who are packed lunches.. and the school must know she only stays once a week... I must admit though it is quite amusing..

Oh yeah.... she understands consequences for her actions!!! that's how come she got dinners so many times!!!! Hand up for school lunch = school lunch:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: MINX!!!! We will, however, be having a conversation about all this when we get home from school!!!

We've straightened out future problems with this, they've put a note on the register from here on out!

    Hi everyone

I have been to school all morning to observe W in class. Well worth doing but obviouly nothing got done round here.

In fact the only thing I have done is sort out some work stuff, have lunch and watch neighbours oh and catch up with you of course ;)

Great to see you back Jill :D how time flies, it's half term here next week as well. We have quite a few bits planned whilst they are off including leaf kicking in Clumber park with DH's work partner. A was kicking round in the leaves after school yesterday, had a whale of a time.

Hugs to all those who are ill/fed up or just want a hug.

    Hi

would really love to meet up but not sure I can as I have just looked at autoroute and its 110 miles each way and 6 hours travelling in total  and not sure OH would agree that its all in a moneysaving cause :D . How far is everyone else travelling.

You could combine it with a shopping trip to Meadowhall some of the shops will be open at 10am plus there is the retail park close by.

My little nephew is Downs too. The most gorgeous, adorable little boy! I love him to bits (don't see him as much as I would like though but they are coming over for half term next week). He will be going to go to mainstream school too. He's 21 months old and bright as a button.

I bet you can't wait to see him!!! Kids are great at that age aren't they!

School run time and consultation for DS3 then swimming so see you guys later. I've not been flying this afternoon but have been turning a hoody of hubbies into a zip-front hoody - he doesn't like over the head ones.

My hubby is always asking me to alter clothes for him. I hate it! I'd rather make things from scratch.
  • Right LunchGate, the resolution!!!
All is resolved, turns out my DD3 had been putting her hand up every day for a school dinner, but the supervisor assigned to her, knows she has sandwiches, so she hasn't been having dinner!

She knows exactly what she's doing the little minx, and plays on being cute!!! Cheeky mare!

So, no big sum of money to find, just what I thought I owed, and any deviation in future they'll check with me! :rotfl:

Utterly knackerd but feeling very pleased with myself at the mo. In the last hour I've managed to clear and pack away the contents of my wardrobe, a chest of draws and all the clothes that seem to think that they live on the back of the bedroom door, thrown away any old underwear ( had a gok won moment and realised there were some old bits that I really wouldn't want to see the light of day) and handbags and brought the old chest of draws down to be taken to the tip tomorrow. Having new carpet and underlay layed in the bedroom on saturday and a new wardobe waiting to be assembled...and was not looking forward to having to shift everything out. But it feels like I've broken the back of it and now all I have to do is take apart the old wardobe, box up knickknacks and photos and then take the bed apart and move it on saturday morning.

Beccah - why not freecycle the chest of drawers - would save you a trip to the tip and much more eco friendly too.

Consultation went ok. Time for swimming now.

Justamum I have not made clothes from scratch since my school days but this is giving me the bug. Showed the half I've done to DS1 (14) and he said wow you are clever very professional - praise indeed!
