What is it with men & cake?I really DO need to know the answer to this one, as so far I've found that it's the best way to get things done at work

Fine to plant them now... up till the end of November I think (I plant them when I find them, better to plant them than throw them out)0 -
I know October is Libra because DS's birthday is then.0

Hello to all
Not been feeling 100% the last few days so just doing dalies and keeping on top of kids stuff really.
From this weeks list:
Kitchen is done (minus the floor) and
Living Room and hall are done
Our bed changed
Spending today doing paperwork stuff as that is what I'm in the mood for.
Also managed to get
New sports bottoms for DS2 (who is tiny for his age)- £4 - and reduced hoody £3
New trainers for DS1's hugely wide feet and a reduced £3 hoody plus a pair of comats he likes and that fit.
New coat for DS3 which does not have cuffs because he does not like cuffs
Might not seem much but all of these things are a nightmare to buy for my kids
Serena I hope you have a week doing just want you want to
Hollyh ? A friend's little girl had a bug which went for 24 hours and then returned (twice I'm afraid)
G&B hope you feel better soon hun
Greenbee my bb is Virgin and I could not get onto the site earlier
Tulips - are one of the latest bulbs you can plant as they like it cold and they come up a bit later - don't plant in areas where it gets very wet - they rot
Vanilla I'm an aquarian too and love a list DS3 aquarian, DS1 piceses (as is sis) very emotional dramatic people, DS2 is an Aries - lovely and DH is a leoThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Hehe... d'you know, this thread is probably the only reason my flat is so clean - I can't bring myself to post unless I've acheived something but I'm itching to post because everyone's so entertaining!!!
Greenbee - on cake: It's v simple. Cake tastes good. We're only used to getting it at birthdays and special occasions. Crunchy Nut cornflakes have the same effect on me - I was only allowed them in the first week of the school holidays (less if the box ran out!!)
Some wise individual coined that phrase about the way to a man's heart being through his stomach. (probably Plato's long-suffering wife). The logical chain of thought here would be that all men will do pretty much anything for all food. Just don't tell my boss.
Time to risk self-electrocution now. Those lights aren't going to fit themselves. Beccah - if the lights go out in Newport, send the ambulances down to Cardiff Bay please. Ta.
TDebt free as of 01/06/13
MFW: Mortgage when started: £205,000 Mortgage 21/11/13 £202,608 Offset target 2014: £5088/£12000 Planned payoff date: August 2026 LTV: 86.3% Daily interest: £21.550 -
greenbee, I do that, important calls included, I once got a bath, sink and loo cleaned, even did the floor by the time the call ended
I went to come back and was 5 mins early, I felt ever so guilty so went and did more
My breadbin no longer resembles an untidy filing cabinet and the recycling bins full!
Another HHC 1.15-1.45pm I thinks, on a roll now!One day I might be more organised...........
