boddy - thanks for asking, DD is a little better, but still doesn't feel great. I think she has been burning the candle at both ends for too many weeks, and it has just caught up with her. I hope that you are feeling less battered this morning, and that your night shift goes more smoothly.
polka - love the sound of the picnic, and if I can't come, we have to have piccies! Somewhere on this forum is the lovely picture of rach in wedding dress walking hand in hand with her new husband along the the beach - just gorgeous!

Morning everyone.
Loads to do today. Ds1's party is tomorrow, and my plans of doing some stuff yesterday went to pot as by the time i got the kids to bed and eaten and tidied up, DS2 woke up again, so the house is a pit, every time i pick something up DS1 chucks something else on the floor despited my best efforts, so i think i will wait till this evening.
DH pee'd me off a bit, as he has been away a couple of days, back late last night, and had obviosuly been messing on the laptop when he got in last night as all left out when i got up with the boys. Then he was really late for a dentist appointment at a clinic that has only just accepted him, and phoning me to find a phone number for it as he didn't know where it was. Um - get your bum out of bed a bit earlier, and get yourself organised love - i don't need an extra kid thanks. Then when we are running round like loons tomorrow to get the house party ready, he will assume i have done nothing all week.
I have managed to buy the food for tomorrow when i went to the supermarket alone with both boys yesterday. Also organised him a birthday pressie for his great Aunt's 80th. And somehow i managed to make a birthday cake for DS1 yesterday. Also got DS1 to color in some printed pictures to stick on cards for his thank you cards for birthday pressies.
I think the best i can do is tidy up tonight when kids are in bed, then run the hoover round tomorrow. Make DH do some of it too rather than sit on his bum in front of the TV.
Achieved so far:- WM - 2 loads of DH's stuff
- stripped DS1's bed and remade due to leaky nappy, have also swapped DS2s grobag for same reason
- put last nights washing up away
- fed and dressed me plus two boys
To do:- make pizza dough to make pizzas for party
- ice the cake
- WM - as many as i can manage as the house is so behind again in this area, including now, wet bedding
- clear off and clean dining table
- kitchen, clean sink and draining board, wipe kitchen sides
- clean bathroom
- make some baby purees
- wash up all the cake tins from yesterday plus any washing up from today
- decorate house with balloons/banners for party

Morning all
One load of washing out on the line but not really doing anything.
Did a water change on the fish tank (still one fish....)
Took dog out later than usual because it was soooo dark and cold first thing.
Wrapped a birthday present and wrote card.
Watched Paul Merton taped the other night.
Not done much in other words, but it's taken all morning!
Welcome Ashia0 -
You just had too didn't you:) Why do you think everytime DF's family say "we don't mind travelling to London" I refuse and say "no, Im quite keen on Sheffield":D I think it was Valli who mentioned I should be having an MSE Flylady wedding and all my "virtual mums/sisters" on here would help out. Kaat_Lady has already sent a number of venue ideas (although thinking about it, if Im having all the flyladies and their lot-one of you better fess up with a really big garden/plot/farm and the rest of you best put your heads down re grub).
I don't know if I've mentioned yet that we are toying with the idea of a "larney picnic" with a "free for all, laid back join the fun" after. Also I've decided on sunset orange and salmon pink gerbera's with burgandy cala lilies.
But instead of centre pieces as such I'd like to use filled picnic baskets and wrap the handles with ribbon and decorate simply with a few Gerberas.
ETA Vanilla Um...sounds like you have a bun in the ovenBut I hope you feel better, you too G&B
I'll bring scones and jam..
A lot of the racecourses have area you can book for functions.. I know Beverley and Doncaster do so I'm sure the others would to.
MY friend took her wedding party to the grounds of a castle or stately home or something of that nature (I forget, I'm a bit dim lol) they are sometimes free to get in, unless you want to go in the house. Sadly I couldn't make it but she really enjoyed it.. there is a train from here to Sheffield too..LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

).
Knitting now while me and DS watch some cbeebies (he's allowed some tv but not too much!). Judging by the noises he is making I suspect its nappy change time soon too.

Just caught up on the thread, spent all last night alternating between dozing in bed and making a mad dash for the bathroom. Apparently i do a very passable impression of the exorcist:o Feeling soooo ill, think i may go back to bed now. Hubby has deposited small child at after school for me so i'm getting peace. Bleurgh...
Hi G&B... go back to bed while you can and take it easy... Hope you feel better soon...

Morning all Flyers!!!
I'm a little late getting started today. One glass of wine and I was off to sleep for hooooouuuuurrrrrssss and woke up with sun shining in through little chinks in the curtains.
So far I have:
Run round the bay
Stopped in on coffee shop on way back looking very sweaty, requesting coffee and victoria sponge to take out (this got me a funny look)
Showered / shaved / cleaned bathroom (again)
Hoovered flat
Drilled holes in wall for new lights in living room
hoovered living room again
S&S kitchen
now off to town to collect dry cleaning and light fittings
Then clean all light fittings old and new
Beccah - :hello: come to the concert! It's at St David's Hall, starts and 7:30... its about two-and-a-bit-hours but the first half is the best bit. And the soloist is just fantastic...
Valli - good mornin' my lover:dance: (see that... that's a happy dance that is)Whilst you are, undoubtedly, a lady, polite gentlemen never reveal their age, preferring, instead, to remain mysterious...
I think we're safe for now. No-one seems to have twigged our liasone dangerous so mad and impassioned one would almost believe one imagined the whole thing :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Being a loyal boy I am ignoring all attempts to lure me away from my valli... although please note liking for cake with jam in the middle:rotfl:
Right... to town!
Oh - one final question - is it too late to plant tulips I just found this morning?
have a good day all
