Just caught up on the thread, spent all last night alternating between dozing in bed and making a mad dash for the bathroom. Apparently i do a very passable impression of the exorcist:o Feeling soooo ill, think i may go back to bed now. Hubby has deposited small child at after school for me so i'm getting peace. Bleurgh...
You caught it then! Ugh! Think bed's the place for you hun! Sending soothing tummy vibes your way...Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Morning Valli much better today-woke in the middle of the night to DS crying but couldn't get up coz my hip was locked:eek: DF muttered about having to get up and then muttered more when I didnt move for him to get back in-he thought I said DS was stuck:rotfl: He felt really bad this morning and gave me a good ol' cuddle:D
I have a bunch of stuff that I've never watched-so we'll get into that but some older stuff I have in mind are American beauty, sweet home Alabama (one of my faves) and almost definitely walk the line (do you see a trend?) )
But the other day I was singing and my friend Beth nearly dived down the stairs to hug me...I was singing a song from Grease 2 (I always liked it better than 1) so we will HAVE to watch that:)
justamum your DD is Aquarian, my dad's birthday is 02 Feb and he's very organised. He's dying to come visit coz DF told him the other day that it took flylady two months to teach me what my Noah tried to all my life (in terms of calendars and lists etc):D0 -
What's one of them then?
Its from Chinese Astrology. To quote from the application on Facebook :
Horse people are extemporaneous and quick-witted. They are quite intelligent and use their practicality to their advantage in their business and personal lives. Their sharpness makes them quick to pick up new skills and are able to handle many tasks at one time. However, this ambition can be harmful because Horse people often don't finish what they start for fear of missing out on the next big challenge.:rotfl::rotfl:
Horses are trustworthy, friendly and open-minded. They are good friends to have and will always be honest with you. Although they are good confidants, Horse people do enjoy their alone time and are usually independent people. They can struggle with obstinance and self-centeredness, which can lead to a flare of the temper if they don't get their way. Usually, after an episode or temper-tantrum a Horse can feel remorse, yet not all people will be able to forgive their reaction.
Earth Horses are able to see situations from all angles and corners. They are relatively easygoing, preferring to determine each pro and con before making a final decision. Earth Horses work hard to accomplish goals they have set and would rather take longer to do an outstanding job than to work shorter and shave a little quality. They have great senses of humor and are extremely adaptable in most instances.Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
I knew it! DD is an Aquarian and used to 'file' as a tot and she has written her xmas shoppping list and is list mad and she is the one who sets her alarm on my non work days. She is scarily organised...she TOLD ME SHE WAS STOPPING WEARING NAPPIES at night! (at 2 and three quarters...)
when you posted that I JUST KNEW you had to be a January babe!
my DD was a little stranger when she arrived - I took ages to 'know' her though I loved her from the minute she was laid on my shoulder (section) unlike DS whom I knew from the outset... although we are all Air signs...2 Librans and an Aquarian...
(Tom Librans are very loving and beautiful, ace cooks, make gorgeous puddings and beautiful homes.... just so you know;) )
My DD1 (Cancer) decided at 18 months she wasn't wearing nappies any more again.. EVER .. DD2 (Leo) did the same but she was 19 months. Hubby is aquarian.. I'm a capricorn.. have christmas sorted for NEXT year pretty much.. I have lists for the children.

20th August was my grandmother's birthday - she was absolutely NOT a hoarder...and very houseproud. She wore a nylon overall in the house to keepher clothes clean...and made all our peg bags!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
(Mind you the one I have now I made myself - and I LINED it!)
My sisters birthday is 21st of August..
