    Morning All

    Haven't got much done the last couple of days but been busy after work!

    Tuesday - Parents' evening - both kids got glowing reports!

    Wednesday - Autumn Fair - so didn't get in from work until 6.30 and was in bed by 8 as I was knackered having been woken up at 3 and not managing to get back to sleep again

    Last night - went for my bath - dozed off in the bath - got out at 11.30 and went to bed!

    Today's list seems doable although off to parents' house for tea after work tonight so may have to wait until tomorrow for most of it!

    My kids finished Wednesday for HT but my school don't finish until today! However, this does mean that I'll have plenty of time next week to catch up with things - don't I say this every holiday!

    Kaz - you asked a few days ago how close people were to Meadowhall - we're about 60 miles away - takes about 1.5 hours - planning on going to Meadowhall first, have lunch then meet up with everyone else!

    Michelle - hope you get everything sorted with your sis and nephews - in my house I tend to insist children follow my rules, otherwise they go home!

    Pigpen - glad you got everything sorted out at college - hope thing are getting better for you.

    Cardiff - hope the concert goes well.

    SS - I seem to spend half of my life listening to the girls in my class saying she said this, she said that (yr5/6) - they can be so nasty!

    Emily - please DH is on the up.

    Holly - hope everyone feels better soon.

    Hope I haven't missed anyone but I read some of the thread last night and some this morning so I'm bound to have forgotten something.

    Hugs to all

    Have a good day

    Right I'm logging off now so I can get ready for work!

    There you go then...

    when's your birthday?

    wonders if Nicki is an Aquarian...

    Are Aquarian's supposed to be organised then? My dad's an aquarian, and the most messy, disorganised person in the world.

    I knew it! DD is an Aquarian and used to 'file' as a tot and she has written her xmas shoppping list and is list mad and she is the one who sets her alarm on my non work days. She is scarily organised..

    My dad is definitely a failed Aquarian then! His idea of filing is to shove it in a drawer, or pile it up in an ever-higher, teetering pile. Always gets red bills because he's so disorganised. And he criticises me for being untidy!!!! OK I used to be REALLY untidy when I was younger - but if I wanted something from my bedroom I knew exactly which pile it was in! Now everything has a home, and has to be put away properly. I don't have 'hot spots' to tidy away, and I go round the house every day with a container picking up things and taking them to where they belong (DD1 is the worst culprit - make-up and earrings everywhere!)

    NOOOOOOOOOO! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

    Mine are all pretty much missmatched too (well, apart from the best ones for visitors...;) ) but they still have to go away properly so that they get used in the right order... see logic in it (somewhere), same with plates, they just pile them up as they get them out of the washer - I make them put big ones on the bottom and work upwards - again logic... No logic in what colour pegs have to be??? can't see the problem???

    ~~~~~~walks away with fingers in her ears whistling and not listening to people calling out 'nutter' behind her~~~~~~
    Nothing wrong with piling plates up in the right order:confused:. I do that too. I also rotate undies and pyjamas in everybody's drawers. When I put the clean ones away they have to go underneath the ones already in the drawer. I also like to have pegs matching in terms of type - although I have noticed in the past few days that they are usually matching in colour too!
