Hopefully now it's been publicised about how bad it is, people won't go.

    I haven't been but it looks a complete rip-off.

Apparently all the weekends between now and Christmas were sold out before the "event" opened anyway, so they'll have made their money (especially if people can't get it back).

I want to go just to see how bad it is.

Bunch of !!!!!! out to scam the villiagers!! whatever next lol ?

Hehe me too, especially as I live nearby. I tried getting some tickets off ebay but the sellers withdrew the auction instead of accepting my (admittedly very low!) offer - they clearly heard the news after all and unfortunately for my curiousity were too honest to continue to sell them! :rotfl:

must be under another name as you have only been registered this month Dec 2008!!!!

I have tickets for 22nd Dec for my son's Birthday as a special treat, £100 is a lot of money to see santa in a shed!!! last year we went to london to see santa and stayed over for less!!!! I expect to get what was sold on the website (which is still down!!! or closed!!) and by all acounts that is not what you get when there .

By the way you dont have to register to print the letters off the website!!
  • I can't believe this is still running - but apparently Trading Standards do not have the power to close it....?

So, I'm now talking to several Councillors for the area and have put a call in to the local MP, and would like to ask if there's anyone out there who has any experience or knowledge of how to set up a petition (in this instance, to get this scam shut down) which I will willingly take to the Houses of Parliament if I have to.

Does anyone think this is a good way forward?
  • good idea mammabling

There is a facility for comments on the page in the link.

I haven't been, and don't plan to, but my mother lives fairly near and had mentioned it to me. There ends my interest!

I do agree all possible action should be taken to close it but I don't know where that leaves people who are already out of pocket.

    What a sad shambles.
