I've now started to get downtime where the forum is unavailable with this message:
The MoneySavingExpert.com forums database has a minor glitch. This should rectify itself quite quickly. Usually waiting 30 seconds and refreshing will have it working fine. We are currently working on a long term solution that should make the forums more stable.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Who's fiddling with the controls
It's all been zipping along smoothly all morning and now it's taking ages to load pages and send replies and keep getting the apology/glitch message “You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -
OK.
Now things are really getting odd.
I replied to a thread on DFW, and now I cannot load up that board while logged on.
If I log off, the board will load but does not show that I have replied. But if I load the thread in question, my reply is there.
If I try to log on again then I can no longer load DFW.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

OK. That has fixed itself, but my reply above doesn't show on the front page for this board now for me (yet ).
I think the forum database server is having a bad day. :undecidedFree/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

If anyone who works behind the scenes here - and reads this. any chance we can have an explanation or at least just tell us all it's not the forum that's the problem it's your isp/computers etc, i dont mind posting about having problems but i don't like being ignored and thats what it feels like.0

I'm just so sorry to be back but for the first time I had very strange preview of my posts - I normally don't do a preview but my posts were incomplete and distorted
here's the copy and paste of the error that occured that said I've no connection speed issues but search from profile or posts continues to be tedious
meher, are you sure you didn't just cut 'n' paste one of Ted's posts there? There's love in this world for everyone. Every rascal and son of a gun.
It's for the many and not the few. Be sure it's out there looking for you.
In every town, in every state. In every house and every gate.
