If its not under hardship theres no point re applying. It is worth you waiting.
No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!

  • Its ok,i dont know why halifax have paid me before you.

i didnt submit an income and expenditure form, the only thing that counted for my hardship was the mess my account was in i.e being over the o/d limit an dhas been for a few weeks. Thats all i can think. I just resubmitted my claim because the women on the phone old me to.

  • i can only think for you to re-submit it and post it recorded?

At least it'll b worth a go while your waiting?

It's weird cause Halifax have made me the offer n ive accepted but i have charges with lloyds and i went through the FOS to get them as Hardship and the FOS wrote to me the day before i got an offer from halifax sayinf they agree with lloyds that im not a hardship case and i should submit any evidence of me being one to them before the 30th....so i sent that yesterday.

No they told me they received it weeks ago approx 6 weeks ago that is. So no point doing it again.

That is weird different banks must have a different idea of hardship. Good luck on that!

    Morning everyone

I too am trying to get my financies in order and if I can get my money back using financial hardship then that'd be great. Is there a template letter as I have looked and can't find one and I want to make sure that when I write to the Halifax I don't miss any information out.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  • No template, You need to ring up your bank as you need to fill out their forms about ingoings and outgoings. good luck x

    Hi, Everyone

Regarding the 1st bank Charge Reclaim Letter Martin tells you to send out, I just got a Rejection Letter from Halifax Customer Relations (claims they reckon the charges are fair, study enclosed leaflet to understand them, they understand I'm in financial difficulties, yadda yadda) with a MAT/BBA Common Financial Statement (V3) Form + Pre-paid envelope enclosed for me to complete and return to Customer Relations.

Anyone familiar with that particular Form?

I'm preparing to send the 2nd Reclaim Letter with the CFS Form attached once I've completed it. If anyone has dealt with this particular issue and successfully got their money back, please let me know so I can plan my next steps after the 2nd Letter goes out.

Let me hear from you, people.
