TMD - good to see you back and glad you are recovering well.

Well done on the Ebay sales, mine are really slowing down now so I think I'll soon be stopping for a few weeks.

I think your New Years Resolution is pretty much the same as mine and probably most people on this board. 2009 will be a good one for all of us :D

I am used to people saying things about my job too as I work with for the Police and even though everyone wants them there when they need them the same people also slag them off.

Really motivating isn't it:rolleyes:;) (mind you, becomes water off a duck's back after a bit doesn't it??)

:T excellent news, glad to hear you have been recovering so well
Everyone else it's good to see everyone doing so well, my New Year's Resolution is to pay off as much as possible as quickly as possible.

Ditto (well it would be if I did NY resolutions, it is more my main ambition at the moment)

oh I blinked and then all these messages appeared.

My payments arent showing up on my online banking yet, my account balance is showing as £128 but then its got available -35.88, so some payments have been claimed but theyre not showing up exactly just yet....

How annoying..... plus from one of my accounts £50 has shown as paid out which is going into that account which is now showing as minus.
Why oh why do things take so long to transfer, its such a pain.... my money just floats in the financial ether for 2 days....

got a q for you over on my diary doodle :)

    Hello peeps!

I've spectacularly fallen off the GC. £161.95/target £100!!!
It's all due to post holiday blues and buying snacks, breakfasts and lunches...:( Not very impressed with myself.
And to make it more shameful for myself, I'm gonna put a break down here as well.
    £64.18 on actual food.(not bad)
£36.72 on snacks (yes, it's funny how it mounts up in 3 weeks).
    £32.02 on lunches and breakfast's.(Shameful)
£25.67 on personal hygiene, one take-away and one meal out.

But I'm back on the wagon so I know next month will be so much better.

Have also 7 items starting on ebay tonight, fingers crossed I get some money out of that.

The good thing is you've recognised Tirl' and you're aware of the situation and not hiding your head in the sand.
Do you make lunches at home to take in?
I really wish I could manage it more often..... but i never get up in time/can never decide what I want/never want what ive taken with me.....

Usually I do, but recently I've been bored with the sandwiches I make, must think of something new. And after hols I just couldn't get up in time to make b'fast so bought pre-packed fruit from shop (I'm very ashamed of this, probably the most expensive thing you can buy).
But have bought stuff for sandwiches for next week and just have to get up early enough to eat cos I have hardly any money till pay day (15th). Also need to do a meal plan tomorrow till then.

    I'm a Gregg's addict...:o French bread pizza and Mexican chicken roll...yum yum.

I'm usully good, but when I'm bad, I'm bad.

Good things seem to happen as well. I've sold another book on amazon and I have a bid on an item I listed on ebay on Thursday, so there is extra money coming my way. :)
