  • I think you sound in not bad shape cmd - have you tried that predicter tool thingy on moneysupermarket??? Martin has one too if you go on his page about repairing your credit rating

So long as you are also on the electorol roll and haven't moved house within the last 12 months you might be OK.

  • Hi PAID!

We moved home (renting) about 8 months ago but have a mortgage (from a flat we are renting out) that we have never defaulted on in 5 years. My OH sent our electoral info away about a month ago but it wasn't mentioned on the report today so I sent another one away today. We were registered on the electoral roll in all other properties.

How do I get to Martins page (sorry me probably being thick!)

  • Hi honey

There is a blue box thing about half way down, the fact that I have been in my flat for less than a year makes the difference between me being the middle category and the second best one (you will see what I mean)

I think it is about where you live rather than owning somewhere, although owning somewhere would make you a better prospect I would have thought. You can play with bits and bobs and see what makes the key difference

Bank account not looking too healthy due to delayed arrival of £300+ expenses, level of stoozing :p and spending approx £430 on Asda Xmas savings cards to get an £18 bonus.... Significantly overdrawn currently :o but since I effectively have enough money on the cards to see us thro grocery wise to 31/12 we should be okay and everything should eventually balance out...

    Hi American Dreamer.

Atm looks like my DFD will be sometime in 2014, so about 5(!!!) years to go, though I should get it down. But yes, find it really hard to consider that it's gonna be such a long time before all my money is mine again and I can do whatever I like (within budget of course ;)) It's a long time trying to live frugally and I'm not sure how I'm going to manage it.
    DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!
Proud to have dealt with my debts!
