  • Bloody good going on dooyoo, I lost interest but should go back for another go. (and well done on the 8p ;))

The £100 was in my account and I sort of figured that if I left it there I would spend it so fingers crossed that I don't need to raid it.

What finally the kick connects...?! hmmmm possibly.

I'm fizzing mad I've just checked my on-line banking and I have still not been paid the £300+ I'm owed in expenses. I wouldn't mind so much but I've already paid the credit card bill they were on and it is putting my overdraft towards the danger zone!!! I'll chase it Monday. Also I'm about to incurr lots of expenses due to work and I can't afford it if they pay so slowly so I think I will be having strong words Monday!!!

On a more positive note my £55 :j has arrived so that can prop up my OD tomorrow and I paid £25 in today which should prop it up a bit as well. :j

So I promise that next I will write a letter to M&S re the transactions (£12). I will also write a letter to my mortgage company re the delayed mortgage (hopefully c£100) and I also need to contact the tax office as they wrote to me ages ago to say they may owe me tax from 2005.... hmmm that may wait a little longer tho... 2 letters would be a great start...:p

OH hasn't arrived home yet - I have no idea where he is - and I left my mobile at work:o so hope everything is okay...

Another addition to my POA - cancel my barclaycard (partly so qualify for better deals later).

  • My POA is leaving a little to be desired too, although my payment went out to Virgin today so that is another £25 off the total - will update my siggy in a sec (two days in a row, it won 't know what hit it)

So holmes, when will those letters be written?? (If I can't do my own POA through bone idleness then I can at least hypocritically chase others on theirs, can't I?)

PAID LOL :rotfl: ! Cooking some tea for me now and chasing kids off to bed. 2 calls to OH's mobile later.... still no answer... I promise to write some letters once I've eaten!

I went to town (after work) earlier with DS and paid in my £25 and only spent money on a top up for him... I think that was a result. I kept thinking I must have dropped something somewhere as I was only carrying my handbag:rotfl: (here's hoping missing phone really is at work:eek:  )

  • Mind you you cancelling your Barclaycard has reminded me that I need to kill my Egg Card.

Killing my Barclaycard was my most enjoyable day ever (followed closely by (very politely) telling Orange to stick their sh1te customer service)

I love that now that I have a handle on things I don't have to put up with crap service and can get rid of companies that are rubbish.

  • Hi everyone!

Any word from your OH yet SavingH?

Got my Experian report through today. It was in better shape than I expected or maybe I am being naive. It just had 1 late payment on 2 credit cards in the last 36 months and that was it? Does that sound okay or would I still be in the danger zone applying for a credit card? I want to apply for a 0% in Feb as my Virgin 0% is up in March.

I cancelled my Tesco and my MBNA cards last week and have 0 on my RBS card now so just have the Virgin card.
