Firstly YAY TMD - Good to have you back, 31 of the little blighters! Crikey!
Now then everyone else!
Whats all this talk of depressing ourselves and being sad and dreaming of holidays elsewhere and general *sigh*......
We're all getting there, and everyone is going great guns, and I think we should all be really proud of ourselves.... so much so that for every month that passes on our journey a shiney jewel (diamante no less) will be added to the paper hat to make it all the more desirable, and shiney and pretty and uber-sexy.... now who wouldnt want that?!
Hows everyones POA going?I'm just off to write my review for the day xxWealth is not measured by currency0 -

Helloooooooo to all the people on my favourite thread
TMD - so pleased your op went well
Loving the two week plan for those dull bits of the month (does that mean I have to stop being lazy)
I haven't paid off any more yet and am tossing up how to do xmas spending and using the extra money this month. I guess my confusion is partly because I am about to change jobs and December will be my first payday in my new job (fingers crossed that the pay actually goes through on time or I am !!!!!!ed) Anyone on this thread work for the NHS and do you know if December is an early pay day or whether it stays the last Wednesday of the month??? (please PM me if you don't want to go public)
Right, have to have a think about my two week plan (am toying with having a crack at matched betting but not sure if I have the will - OH is trying to convince me not to but irrespective of whether it is fairly safe I would never play with more than I was *prepared* to lose)
I can't bring myself to do ebay but am also toying with the idea of listing stuff on play.com again, that was not too painful.£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)

Ooops, hope I didn't sound like I was showing off about all the holidays I take. It's mainly cos a) I work away from most of my friends and family, so I tend to travel to see them or go away with them and b) when I'm working I have zero social life, so it kind of balances out. But cutting down on flights is a good idea. I can feel a new year's resolution coming on....
TMD - nice to see you back after the op :hello:0 -

PAID, they usually pay you a week early in the NHS from what I remeber (been out of it for 4 years now) in my new job I get paid on 12th Dec but then that has to last me until 20th Jan, how the hell is that going to happen???? I can;t see the point if I'm honestAug GC £63.23/£200, Total Savings £00

Cheers hun - at least it gives me time to sort something out if it all goes TU and I don't get paid until January.
I agree about the pointlessness of it, it means I have to try extra hard not to spend my debt/rent/everything else payments and it makes it sooooooo long between pay days. One year I was driven to send a rant to HR asking them to run a consultation the following year, being my shoddy HR dept HR they didn't even respond.£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)
