    Hiya all!

Damn credit cards, what a load of hassle! On 14th paid my balance in full by debit card. Cancelled DD and let virgin know. They said it would go out cos I hadn't cancelled more than 10 days before, but said they would credit it straight away.

So yesterday went to check balance was 0. Was it hell! Showed owing as £37, £25 min payment and £12 charge for dd not going out. Didn't have my card number with me yesterday so called them just now. As they never received my dd and still credited it, which they say has been sent to my account on 22nd and can take 6 days, I still owe them £25, which I'm obviously not going to pay before I get it back in my account. The person I spoke to last time, didn't say anything about possible charge, but the lady today was surprised and promised to refund it. So bacically, I still owe virgin cos they are incompetent !!!!!!:mad::mad: And make paying them too difficult. Anyway, not changing my sig as it's just a hiccup and their mistake anyway.

Sorry for rant, just really annoyed me, I want to cancel the bloody card!!!

i had a similar problem when i cancelled my c/c. they charged me interest cos i waited til i got my statement before paying it off. which made about a week's interest cos the post is so incompetent (sp?) so i still owed them about £2 odd. it's ridiculous. i hope you get it sorted soon

It is ridiculous! I'll keep an eye on my account so I can be sure they've remove the £12 charge and won't pay the £25 until it's back in my account. Very annoying though.

The weather's ridiculous as well. Felt really autumnal when I left for work, then sunny and nice and now it's just !!!!ed it down!
