cmd - glad your OH is in a better mood today. like you said he probably felt backed into a corner but now he's had time to think about it he realises you're right. although i don't envy you moving if you have to. we moved half an hour away when i was only 3 months pregnant and that was a nightmare. i wasn't allowed to do anything. but a move might be a positive thing for you
Tirlittan - i agree about the letter. it may be easier for you bf to express himself in a letter rather than face to face. ask him in the letter how he sees your future then you might have a bit of an idea how he feels.
cafc - sorry to hear you're having a bad time of it as well. have posted in your diary
has anyone got any good news?? i paid £100 off our debts today but that's about it i thinkGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -

Thanks Starnac. Yes, he is totally coming around to the idea now and is quite positive about it. It looks like Bristol might be where we need to move to (when a job pops up and if OH gets it). Does anyone know anything about it? I have never been but we are going there in about a month to see what it is like.
I don't envy me the move either but if it has to be done we will do it. I will put a positive slant to it. At least debts would be paid off quicker and we would have some savings!
Yes, I have good news. I got paid today so have amended my sig. Hope to amend it more over the next few weeks as I have rent coming to me as well! (from tenants)Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

it does sound like the move will be a positive thing for you. don't really know what bristol is like to be honest which is terrible as i only live the other side of the bridge. i have lived up north for 8 years so that's my excuse and i'm sticking to it
i see you've broken the 6k barrier too this month. :T feels good doesn't it?Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000
