Yeah, it is pretty heavy stuff but he is obviously besotted.If you have strong feelings for him you could always say that you wouldn't be able to make that sort of commitment to him while you are still married as it wouldn't feel right. That would bide you some time.

What do you think? Do you tell your parents?

He rang me tonight and apologised and just said he is crazy about me and wants me to know how much he feels for me. He knows what I am going through etc with my ex and says he justs wants to look after me etc etc.

I said to him if we got engaged it would be a vvvvvvvvverrrrrrry long one :rotfl:

I think that is fair enough. You are being honest.

He sounds lovely and maybe got carried away and felt protective of you towards your ex.
