Hi SH. Sounds like the holiday's just at the right time. I'm sure you'll have time to relax and gather your thoughts and come back all ready to go again. Hope you have a lovely time.

Luck's been on my side and ebay has been very profitable this month. I could pay another £265 towards my student loan and that would be 1000€ paid off. I need to double check my figures though, that I can really afford it (actually,of course I can, it's all extra money and I'd still have around £150 extra to do as I wished) and see how it would affect my DFD. Everytime I get a large sum of money (£300 is loads to me) I get so giddy cos I can't decide how best to use it. I don't have any clothes, all my budgets are really tight, so could always do with something, but usually I just keep my head down, put most of the money towards debt (and as I now only have one, it's not difficult to choose which one) but this time I really think I deserve to treat myself a bit. Hope any of that made sense. :)

Hi Tirl glad ebay is going well. Could you allow a small amount for a treat and then put the rest to debt. I do that...

well i have a confession to make...... i've booked a weekend away for the 3 of us for our wedding anniversary in september. before you all shout it was very mse. i didn't part with any cash at all. :T got a 4* hotel in windsor for 2 nights and annual passes to Legoland for myself and DH. lucky DD is under 3 so she gets in free anyway. i haven't told DH about the hotel, he knows about the passes though and is really excited. i'm sure it'll be like having 2 kids when we go!! :rotfl:

that's true. i'm only going to windsor not new york or lithuania or.... (where else have people gone??) :D

that said we haven't had a holiday since our honeymoon and it's our 4th wedding anniversary this year. we had booked a holiday to morrocco the year after we got married but ended up having to cancel it due to me having to have an emergency operation. then the year after i was pregnant then i had a young baby then we had no money......... so it's nice to actually have something booked even if it's only a weekend and we're not even leaving the country.

hey technically we are leaving the country :j
