My day will get better after I finish work. BF is cooking and then we're going to the cinema. But that really doesn't solve anything, it's more of a distraction from everyday life... :( God, what a cheery lot we are. We can do this, the debts will get paid off and we'll all have a life again!!!

It never rains - it pours!!!!!

Think I'll try and wake up tomorrow with a positive attitude that the day will be great and everything will go my way - wonder if that will work?

Have a great time at the cinema! What are you going to see? I haven't been to the cinema for ages. Enjoy your dinner too, must be nice to have it cooked for you, we are having to make do with what is in the freezer and cupboards so it will be chicken nuggets, oven chips and spaghetti hoops and peaches and ice cream for pudding.

I think positive attitude is a choice, sometimes you just can't be asked...

Going to see Terminator 4. Do you ever go to the free cinema tickets thread? I've been to 6 free films since start of this year including Bruno. Tonights one I have to pay for, but it's cheap Tuesdays at VUE.

I think we should def cheer up for tomorrow. :)

Hope you have fun at the cinema, my evening will only be better if the kids go to bed with no fuss and the baby sleeps early and not at 10pm like last night.

Going to stay up really late tonight and get loads done on Ebay.

    Evening all

Am so sorry everyone has been feeling crap...

TMD hun I dont really know what to say about DH. Are you trying to pay off his credit card that he lent money to his mum from?
He may have to start getting narky with her and get that money he's owed. Its not fair what she's doing. I would perhaps telling her how much your struggling, and what you're having to eat etc, and see if perhaps the guilt of what shes putting her grandchildren through will spur her into action.....but that is just shameful though....

£147.29 paid off DH's car...and £42 paid off my barclaycard as well....

Thanks CAFC - I'm not paying his credit cards with his mums debt on he is, but as he is paying that he can't help me out when I need it. His mum owes everyone, she owes him, owes her daughter £15,000, owes one of her other sons £3 or 4k, owes the son that is living in her basement flat so she can't rent it out £50k, plus she owes the 4 of them £50k each which is their inheritance from their father's estate but she needs to sell the house that was his or her own house to pay them out but doesn't look like she wants to do that, she doesn't think they should get a penny, the other 3 siblings went away with £106k, £60k and £80k as they turned against her in Court but the ones who stuck by her she's making hang on even longer.

It's getting to be a real pain and I've told him I'm not putting up with it for another god knows how many years.

    Well done on the payments.

Out of a total 20 items that have finished on Ebay tonight, I sold one item for a massive 99p - how many more 99p items do you think I would have to sell to pay off £22,000?????

Oh well, at least it is free to relist.
