How is everyone today? It is raining here now, had to go and look for a blue or green dress for DD2 this morning as she is a Dragonfly in the school concert and I have to make a costume which has to be in tomorrow lunchtime - eekk I'm hopeless at practical things.
Got a thick blue roll of streamer and some green crepe paper to make flowy things so they move in the wind as she runs along, also have to find her fairy wings, they are pink though but will have to do. Shame my mum doesn't live nearby as she is great at making things, she did DD1's costume for the concert last year.
Oh well, got lots of tidying up to do today, got to sort out the kids toys and get rid of some down our Annex as there is too much stuff about and I'm sick of the toys all over the floor, the joys of having 3 kids!!!

Does anyone have one of those Mobile Broadband USB things (or whatever they are called) that goes into a Laptop so that you can use it when you go away or are out. Was thinking of getting something like that for my laptop but not sure if they are good or not to bother.
Hope everyone is working hard and that is why no one is about!!Sealed Pot Challenge #0160 -
Hooray, am now over £4,000 mark, it feels goooooddddd!. Put 13p in sealed pot, OH has lots of coins in his van (he's not using the van anymore), so might ask him if he wants to 'donate' them to me and my sealed pot!! Also paid minimum payment to Barclaycard.
Can't wait for 1st December to open it and see how much I have, hopefully it will be pay a big chunk off my credit cards.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160 -

Hi toomuch debt, I'm here :hello: I haven't been looking after the money saving side of things for a while, but I'm back. He he, I just read your posts too quickly and thought at first that the crepe paper was for your DD's flower girl outfit!0

Just been landed with a surprise heating bill for 250 quid from last winter  So much for trying to keep the radiators off and freezing my proverbials off all winter, wrapped in fleeces and woolly socks! It feels like all the effort was for nothing. And it'll have to come out of the overdraft...0

Doodledoo - so jealous of you seeing Take That. :smileyhea
CAFC - good luck with your food challenge. Buy lots of potatoes! I boil them in their skins then mash them roughly with olive oil and basil from the garden - they're yum!0 -
Hi Snow White
So nice to see someone else is still around, sorry about your heating bill, that is a PITA.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160 -
I am here now too
I have a mobile broadband dongle thingy, it isn't bad but not as good as proper broadband (but I don't have a landline)
Mine is a £15 a month contract for 3gb download allowance. Not sure how much PAYG is but have a nosey and you can probably get something decent and (of course) bargainous. Mine is Vodafone.£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)

Thanks PAID - will definitely look into it.
Missed the forums last night with the technical problems but am glad it's back up and running this morning.
