Thanks doodledo, but unfortunately it's still going to be ages. Plan is to get the interest paid by the end of this year and then it should be all down hill from there as I'll finally be paying the capital. :) It will be my only debt from September onwards though! Maybe one day I will have a life.

Oh, finally my £50 cashback for buying car insurance through Quidco has been validated!!! :D Obviously it still has to be received by Quidco before they'll pay out, but at least the ball is rolling. :T

    Hi

    How is everyone doing today?

DD2 now has the Pox, she came out with fluid filled spots yesterday morning and has about 15-20 now, DD1 only has the same 2 spots that she had yesterday but she had a temperature yesterday afternoon and evening and felt quite hot to touch. Have kept her off school just in case she comes out in spots too, if she doesn't have any tomorrow then she can go in, she was very upset about not being able to go to school.

Have to send off a cheque for their passports (£46 x 3), OH left me a cheque for them with a little note. Before I say what the note said a bit of background - I said I wanted to sell the car as I can't afford it, he said no don't, he said he would pay me £100 a month from this month to help out with Diesel etc - great I thought - until I read the note he left this morning.

'Send this off today for the passports. This will be out of your £100 a month allowance so your next £100 will be 29th July'.

!!!!!!!! Was really annoyed at this, I paid £20 for the passports to be signed (nice guy in my local Post Office did it for me cheaper than it would normally cost). I also paid for the photo's (about £11-12). So now I'm paying £100 for the passports (as I'm not getting the £100 he was going to pay me this month) and he will only pay £38 (he is saving £100 as he's not giving me the £100 he was going to), now he earns £35,000 a year, I earn about £2,000 a year on Ebay (will be less this year as it's really slow), I get £43 a month CTC and £186 Child Benefit. Yes he does pay the bills but he has a full time well paid job and I have to rely on pennies.

THE CAR HAS GOT TO GOOOOOOOOOO AND SOOOOOOONNNNNN.

I hung up on him earlier when he didn't see that I am in fact paying £100 for the passports as he will only be down £38 as he's not giving me the £100 so he's saving and I'm losing but he doesn't see it like that.

    Aaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhh.

TMD - arrghhhh I feel your anger, how bloody annoying is that. £100 is massive to you in helping out and he will barely miss it. I don't blame you for being angry with him about it.

Oh TMD, feeling for you. Why are men so dim sometimes? Is there no way of discussing it further?
