Yes I am still chirpy. My boss and new boss are currently thrashing out when I can start my new role. Felt like saying "well can it be soon as I really need that extra cash for my MSE challenge" lol.
I worked out my SOA yesterday and it looks so much rosierand I even went one step further and worked our my SOA once I am debt free and the difference is amazing. I will really be able to give my DD the life she deserves :T

Yeah its going to be amazing. I am trying hard not to get too excited as obviously in this market the house may not sell.
Once its finished the house will be ready for someone to walk in and live though every room has been redone so hoping that will swing it along with the fact there won't be a chain either.Proud to be dealing with my debts - DFW No: 712

You are putting a lot of effort in - I am sure that will help.... Decluttering I found was the biggest thing that helps sell houses... We have always sold our house to the first couple of people that saw it - 3 times now... Putting the effort in at this stage really does make a lot of difference!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Yeah I am decluttering too as I do each room. The house is pretty much empty lol. I have sent a load of stuff down the tip, sent anything of my exs to his house
and anything of mine that I want to keep but don't need is being moved into my parents double garage
I am even thinking of moving my dog out for a while as I don't want that "dog" smell you can get to put people off. I mean I don't think my house smells but I would imagine I am immune to it to a certain extent.
Would break my heart her going there but if it means the house sells quicker then its probably worth doing.Proud to be dealing with my debts - DFW No: 712

I am allergic to most animals and have a very sensitive nose - I would smell dogs in almost any environment. We bought a house from someone that had a cat - I am sure we were plagued by fleas initially!! So altho parting company would be hard it may be a good decision.... There are plenty of people who do sells houses even with pets in them tho! Who would look after the dog (Ruby?) for you?Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
