Not been on for a while so Ithought I had better say hello. How has everyone been? Has anything exciting happened? What have I missed???

    Hi Paid,

Great to see you on here! Not much news from me either. Fell by the wayside for a couple of months but my motivation is back again. Want to be debt-free by April 2010 so need to get moving!

You are doing great with your debts. Your sig is looking very healthy and you are well under the 20k now!

Cheers both, have been drinking and eating too much but other than that it has been an endless cycle of work!

CMD - I also want to try to be debt free by April next year (that was more realistic before my spending went off on a spree all of its own, obviously nothing to do with me :D)

I think I am having a wayward couple of months, but I just got the annual cost of living increase (bonus of working for the NHS is that you get two increases a year!!!! I actually think it is slightly ludicrous but there we are, gift horse and all that) which gives me about £100 a month more to play with when I was only expecting it to be about £60 a month more so that is a bit of a bonus.

Wow, that is a good increase! My cost of living increase only gives me an extra £12 a month but my council tax is £10 less so £22 extra is better than nothing!

    Glad you are well!

I don't really understand it and think they may have made an error so am anticipating some sort of request to have something paid back but I shall watch and wait.

Your totals are looking good too CMD. Have you seen the debt tickers that were posted a while back?? I think they are a nice way to see your progress. I'll hunt out the link to the thread

Yes, I remember them. The tickets are cool! Well if we are both aiming for April 2010 we can keep each other company then. How nice will that be, the month after, having all this spare money!!!
