Morning all. Hope everyone had a lovely bank holiday weekend. I had a great one, but now absolutely knackered, too much exercise.. ;).

Paid £600 off student loan, but difference will be only £440 as there was 2months interest on. Difficult to keep any detailed info on how I'm doing on it as don't get any statements or anything, so it's all approxiate. Might take me till end of this year to clear all of the interest that's gathered on it :(. But will struggle on trying to clear it all.

8 days to holiday!!!! :):):) Have now booked accommodation as well and it's gorgeous! Might update with some photos soon.

Exciting stuff, would love to see photos!

I've put my DFD in my sig now, August 2012. I want to bring it forward though, but not sure how I'm going to manage it. Will try to think something up. Just so many things to do in the summer time... Holiday + spending money almost sorted, only missing about £50. But then there's Glastonbury in June and naming ceromy in Scotland in July. Bf has kindly paid for flights for that one though, still need some spending money though.

We got £20 cashback on booking holiday accommodation, and will get something from car hire as well.Every little helps.

Also close to redeeming form scratchie site and some cashback to come this month. Desperate to have a life at the same time as paying debts off. Bf really understanding and helpful though, which is really lovely.

    Hope everyone's well.

Good for you for bringing your DFD closer. I think my last date was 2014 but I want it gone by April 2010.

I paid another £100 off my Virgin credit card. That is it from me this month. I hope to make money from AQA but have had a terrible start. Am hoping OH will get tax back in June and am going to try and persuade him that we should chuck it all at my credit card. Still can't get over the terrible rate for it.

    How is everyone?

Doodledoo, you will be able to make great inroads into your debt now with the extra money from your new job!

I won't so there!:p Looks like my M&D will pay for nearly half of what I bought - for my birthday, my MIL will probably cover 1 top, and that then leaves 3 other tops which would be reasonable as birthday gifts from OH!

Well done on another payment! Tirl - hope you manage to find a way of bringing your DFD forward. CMD hope you hit your new DFD date!

I didn't get to the next stage for the interview 2 weeks ago, but still not heard about yesterday's......
