I might share my grand plan as well if that's okay! I would love to buy a house where I am now, keep the flat in Scotland and overpay on it for 5 years. Then I would love to sell the place in Scotland and buy a house in Spain to either live or have as a holiday home. This is probably sounds like a mad plan, but it is in fact, a well thought out one! Of course I want to get rid of the debt first but if OH gets a job fairly quickly then we will make great headway with it!
Doodledoo - I know what you mean about the life of riley! I wouldn't mind but we weren't living the high life!:o We were just spending too much money on food and other crap and bailing people out when we couldn't afford to ourselves!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Right ladies - I mean business! It's me v's Virgin. Got a letter today to say they are upping my APR to 34.9%. I had a feeling it was coming but hadn't received a letter. The balance of that card stands at £4,558 at the moment so I need to work really hard on AQA to get rid of it. If OH gets work it should be gone by Sept. If not, then I will aim to get rid of it by the end of the year. Really don't want to give them any interest so this is my next challenge.
As well as the minimum payament I want to pay £300 into it every month so best get cracking on AQA.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947
