I've just claimed back £5 in Amazon vouchers from Lightspeed surveys but I'm using that towards my son's birthday pressie so won't count it for this... although it does make the paperhat challenge easier to do.

The cashbacks on gambling site (only for the disciplined) and taking out bank accounts cards etc are probably the easiest.

Hope you are all having a good day...

    Hi everyone,

Sorry I haven't been on for a while!

It's my dooyoo that has been cancelled, apparently I was 'revenge' rating or something??

Gutted really as I had about 8000 miles!!Oh well! Have to find some other money making scheme!

How is everyone doing, looks like most of you are starting to pay something towards your debts.

I'm still waiting for payday, however I've had a letter from my gym today saying that I don't have to pay any membership this month (which will save me £43) and I've also cancelled my 17.99 per month internet and signed up for o2 £12.50 per month from which I get £60 cashback from Quidco! :D

  • Hi and welcome Tirlittan,

Mike, sorry to hear your account got cancelled. If you go into the dooyoo terms and conditions you should be able to read about revenge ratings. I reckon you should be able to get your account re-instated if you explain you didn't even understand what it means.

I am still not off the starting blocks yet. Won't be until I get paid next week. I am a bit worried cos I transferred (online) £2,300 from one credit card into an existing one as it is 0% until May 2009. The transfer is showing up on the 0% card but the money hasn't been taken from the other card??? Think I will ring tomorrow. Am worried now I messed up a digit or something and I have paid off someone else's card

  • I wouldn't worry about it.

Sometimes it takes longer to show up for some companies than others.

It might have updated tomorrow, if not it's probably best ringing them like you said.

    Thanks Mike84,

I am probably just being paranoid, but it is good to get some reassurance. Made a paltry £2.10 on AQA today. However, I did only come back from work at 9pm so not too bad I suppose. Does anyone else do AQA?

  • Morning all, paid a bit more off the dreaded A&L card today, as when we got the statement yesterday noticed they are increasing the interest rate to 30%, the b4stards!!!, I wouldn't mind but we have never missed a payment and also overpay on this anyway!!, maybe that's why they've done to try to make more money out of us now they are realising that we are paying it off

  to interest rates. I think a lot of them are increasing them now with the credit crunch. SO unfair isn't it there is nothing more demoralising than paying a chunk off your card and then seeing the actual amount it goes down after the interest has been added.
