Great Value 17" Laptop Deal

hi all

been looking around for a couple of laptops for the kids for xmas, and i have found what i reckon to be a pretty good deal.

17" widescreen hp 6820s with 2Gb RAM, and a 160Gb harddrive running vista home premium for £339

on top of that hp are running a £50 cashback deal by online claim form until 31/10/08, bringing the total down to £289. a small delivery charge of £5.99 to add on as well.

good value for a good spec machine in 17", and i have had the hp g6000 for about a year and it has never let me down once. the 6820s even has the number pad on the keyboard which is a good feature for a laptop.

yep good find, but this is a netbook not a notebook! 9" screen no dvd drive, no windows, 0.5Gb RAM, 8Mb hd...basically internet access and email.

the hp is a massive 17" screen, 2Gb ram, 160Gb hd windows vista, dvdr, and proper numberpad on the keyboard for £289 plus del!!!!!!!!!!

even base laptops with half the memory/harddrive, and vista basic, and a 15.4" screen are £300 a go!!

nice one, if you can afford it the 2Gb RAM one is definately the one to go for for the extra £30, also the hard drive is bigger.

ordered mine weds, delivered thursday by UPS, got one out of the box and they are fantastic laptops. cant beleive the price, they were over £500 a few months ago:eek:
