One wonders why these crooks haven't simply pulled the plug on the server out of spite at us brits.
Because they are under British control and based in the UK. The server and all back office operations are provided by NSSL

What kind of proof is a screenshot? Anyone could easily edit that in seconds.
And if FSCS will cross check all balances, why would you send a proof of your balance?0 -
true.they only need to look at your account to see what is in it.0

Can still access my account, both through Egg Money Manager and through Icesave itself.......did take a couple of screen shots after the transfers etc were stopped, so I should be ok when we can claim....'We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars' - Oscar Wilde0

I requested a transfer of the remaining balance the day before the brown stuff hit the fan. As we all know, these transfer requests never went through.
After having made a number of calls to Icesave I was eventually able to access my account but it shows a zero balance. I was assured that eventually my account would show the balance of the failed transfer.
However after several calls (at 30+ mins per time) I was eventually told that their IT department had told them they wouldn't be able to put this balance back into the account.
I expressed dissatisfaction with this situation i.e. that I only had their word of this money but was told they couldn't do anything, send me anything because everything was frozen etc. This may or may not be true but I feel like staff at Icesave are just making things up as they go along, frankly.0 -

That's what I thought: but what systems will they be looking at? If it's the same that we have access to, then my account shows a zero balance (see post above). :eek:0 -
Is it time to panic again, I can't keep up0
