    whoohayyyyyyyyy

at last, a bit more panic making, it's been a whole hour seen I saw the last panic post. Do we really need a new Icesave thread everytime a journalist puts their personal spin on the situation?

If anyone has not yet taken screenshots of their Icesave accounts, they were probably a bit negligent. Once you have a screenshot, there's little point in logging in again.

Having said that, I just logged into my account, just to test whether it's possible to log in.

Or better still an "Up Yours"
  • So the article says

"The savers, who will need proof of their savings in order to reclaim money held in the bust bank from the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS), cannot find information about their Individual Savings Accounts (Isas) online."

Presumably if they were 'shocked to find' I would suggest they have been just a teeny weeny little bit tardy in printing of their account information...or been on holiday in outer mongolia for the last couple of weeks.

Anyway, like others, mines still showing as well. Just couldn't resist going and having a look, just for old times sake....

Maybe this is 'thousands of savers' who perhaps never actually had ISAs with IceSave?? Lets hope the reclaim scheme isn't jammed up with false claims.

One wonders why these crooks haven't simply pulled the plug on the server out of spite at us brits.

Don't worry, i'm sure they're working their hardest to ensure that this is accomplished by close of business tomorrow.
