  • MORNING all...

Light left on overnight (tut)...At least there's a glimmer in the fire I can use to start today's welcome blaze.

Kettle on, porridge on, frying pan warming up, birds fed, cats watered and littered......
  • Morning,

Lobs bacon in the frying pan and fills the coffee pot ready. Who wants what with the bacon or is it just butties?

I've been dozing. Can't seem to shift into gear. Mind you my excuse is I'm waiting for the freezer man to call. Coffee and some fresh fruit please... preferably with a sea view of the warm summer kind. Thanks

Afternoon folks...lovely sunshire out there. I nipped to the new Tesco that has opened near me and managed to save a load of cash, then I trotted off to my butcher and got two minted lamb steaks and 6 chicken thighs (I will bag these up in twos and freeze them), then I wandered into my local cake shop and came out with a box of 4 fresh cream cakes for £1.60 (I got a mixed box) - methinks they are trying to compete with Tesco.

So I have bought some cakes, some mixed veg to sling in the soup, some baking spuds and dunking biscuits - that's my contribution to the cafe today.

I will just have a seat over here by the window - oh and I will have a toasted teacake and a mug of tea, I like to people watch:D
  • over by the window you should be able to see a vulture, pelican, 3 flamingoes and a penguin.

welcome to the virtual cafe where life goes on and passes by, with never a penny needed...
