Thanks LW and CWTA my Nan passed away this morning. I'm so glad I got to say goodbye yesterday.
Aww, Suep I am so very sorry. I've not been online for the last day, but having seen your post, Mr LW is going to get a wee black candle out of our stash to aid your Nan's transition. It's sorta what we do. (((HUGS))) to you and all our good wishes to your Dad.

  • lw What a lovely thing to do, Mrs. Hope your mood is brightening somewhat.

I have Rheumi appointment tomorrow so am making a list of everything I want to bring to attention/discuss, primarily the lesions on the MRI which COULD be indicative of MS. Feelng a little sore as have had repeated bouts of Costochondritis over the weekend including one when I ws driving home from town yesterday. That really unsettled me.
    Hugs to all.

The Dr I'm seeing is a paeds specialist in ME aswell as her adult role in neuro-physio/muscular problems, so hoping there'll be some understanding there but you never know do you?! :)
Hope you get what you need out of it Invasion. I have been known to completely break down after appts like that - either out of joy for getting some progress, or out of frustration that it wasn't as productive as it should've been.:o I hope it's the former for you. :) Let us know how you go on?
Did get some daylight bulbs earlier in the week primarily so I can knit by them in the evening, but hope they may help with SAD.
Let me know how you go on with them? Me and DH have been suffering with the transition into winter. I'm not at all convinced the lightbulbs we have (predominantly energy saving ones) don't have soomething to do with it...

Tria I hope your flare dies down and your absenteeism is due to being out having fun instead soon.

Lw sorry they got you so down. I completely understand how that can throw you down the pit. Hope you manage to crawl back out quickly:o

My MIL rang DH yesterday to ask him to take her into hospital. She's been complaining for a couple of weeks that she thinks the abcess is back, been contacting the GP (who she reckons fobbed her off) and the specialist she saw for the last one's secretary...but having had no joy decided going in to hospital was the best quickest option. I deeply suspect they'll send her home at the beginning of the week with a permanent drain in. In fact, I'll be mightily miffed if that's not what happens, as I'm doubtful there'd be a good reason not to do that...

I'm still not up and about on my feet properly yet...I'm getting there though I spose. I've got nearly enough full range of movement back in the ankle - but only when it's not got weight going through it. I'm now "walking" with the aid of the (shaped handled) crutches now, but struggling to not have a stiff leg whilst doing it, iyswim. The natural rock from heel to toes that should happen isn't happening anything like naturally, and is really painful to push on with... but at least I can stand now, at least for a couple of seconds ;)

Other than that we've nearly done the thankyou cards now... DH has just left the house forgetting to take the them to post once more lol... and I'm merrily designing my photobook with the wedding photos in now I've got my official photos back :)
