Anyway, sort of needed to sit under the table and chew a slipper for a bit, that being a better option than dragging you folks down into the pit with me.
Normal service will be resumed. Eventually.:oIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Gawd, couldn't you just slap them with a wet fish?! Mega big 'ugs to you sweetie and I'll soak the slipper chew in Brandy if that'll help?

CWTA, I went out to a bonfire eve with friends who covered my wheelchair with glowsticks and sang to me
burgers, doughnuts and hot chocolate, was lovely
LW, why is it that it's always down to us, and NEVER them that we feel worse?! Hope you're feeling better soon xx
I have an appt on friday, a little nervous as kind of out of practice! Haven't seen anyone in ages!
It's my neuro-physio appt, where I'm hoping for gabapentin/pregabling for headpain and skin/muscle super sensitivity and to discuss stupid legs that don't work properly...! Maybe even pain relief- hoping I might have some more options now that am 18. The Dr I'm seeing is a paeds specialist in ME aswell as her adult role in neuro-physio/muscular problems, so hoping there'll be some understanding there but you never know do you?!0 -
Sorry folks, you know how hectic my life has been lately, well my Nan was taken into hospital last Friday, I wont go into it on here but she hasn't got long, I've been to see her today so am still choked up, the worse thing is she's my Dads Mum, he is doing really well at the moment so we are a bit concerned it will set him back.
Change of subject, the baby shower went well on Sunday, 3 weeks to go, if she lasts that long, she is huge. She loved the nappy cake I made although g/d has claimed the pink fluffy bunny I sat on the top  so I owe the new baby another teddy
LW I can understand how you feel after getting that letter, rather how I felt last year when the Physio who works for the Rheumi dept told me Fibro didn't exist  I've never been back to see him since. Don't they realise that comments like this are not helping us ! Don't they think that you could possibly have something like Fibro as well as Lupus ? They make me so angry :mad:Real stupidity beats artificial intelligence every time.

Still in the fatigue flare, sorry. My computer time is at about a third of its usual level at present, I'm so tired.Homosexual, Unitarian, young, British, female, disabled. Do you need more?0

Tria awww, flares are horrid at the best of times, but I think this time of year is worse, what with the lousy weather and dark evenings.
Suep I'm so sorry to hear about your nan; what a worry for you, with your dad having been so poorly too.
I hope everyone else is OK. Just about to have a bite of lunch - home made rolls with choice of fillings, if anyone wants to join me.If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
SueP: *hugs*
LW: Yeah. And I got up this morning to find I have started to develop a freakin' massive cold sore all across the left side of my jaw, so that just shows how low my immune system is. D@mn it all to hell. >_<Homosexual, Unitarian, young, British, female, disabled. Do you need more?0 -
Ello peeps. Had a duvet day today after bad day yesterday where everything started to get on top of me together with that "is this all there is to life" feeling. Did get some daylight bulbs earlier in the week primarily so I can knit by them in the evening, but hope they may help with SAD. Had ECG yesterday so one step nearer carpal tunnel operation which will give me some relief hopefully.
Tria Sorry you're havig another flare up. I'm all out of advice at the moment so will just say that I feel your pain.
Sue Life just keeps throwing at you, eh? So sorry to hear about your Nan. Hope you and your family can draw together and support each other through more difficult times. I did ask about nappy cake on FB, but don't think you saw it - hardly surprising when you have so many other things on your plate.
Am always here if you wanna talk but understand if you haven't got the brain space for it at the mo.
Invasion That sounds like a wonderful birthday treat! I love bonfires etc but rarely venture out after dark to see things like that nowadays.
lw If they only knew how the throwaway things they say affect us, eh? Major hugs and support to you and I hope the black dog is slinking away in shame.
I made a very sad looking lemon drizzle cake the other day and was thinking of you when I made it and wailing for your advice when it turned out so flat *g* Did taste good though and is my fave. Managed to get some silicon bakeware at Asda at £8 for a loaf tin and a cake tin. Had wanted some for ages but thought it was too expenny so was reet chuffed.I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0 -
