Ugh, I'm having trouble finding clothes. The jeans I have about about 2 sizes too big for me - they don't even stay up, and I'd really like some more stuff to wear for work.

However, I'm tall (5'11 - size 36 leg) and also big. I can find tall clothes for skinny people, or normal length for fat people, but not the two combined. Evans have got rid of their tall sections (argh!) and I just ordered some jeans from tallgirls, but they must run small as they don't fit. I've ordered another pair of jeans from Dorothy Perkins which are tall, so I'm hoping they fit or I'm really stuck.

I can't find any work trousers anywhere though.

Long Tall Sally are super expensive, and again probably stop the size before I'm looking for.

Any tips? I can't be the only tall and fat person in existence!

I'm 6' jazabelle, and have been able to buy trousers/jeans from Next with the extra long leg.

  • jaz I can't help I'm afraid as I'm short and fat *g*
Will have a word with my friend who is 5'10 but I think she gets hers from Evans and some on-line catalogue type place.

I had a long lie in this morning as I have been progressively more and more tired. Took some Amy to help me along and slep until gone 2pm. Feeling much better for it too :o)

Am tucked up in the corner of the sofa with the local paper to see if anyone I know has been in trouble or got locked up!

Treated myself to some wonderful bacon from a local supplier which is the tastiest stuff in the world and the chooks have started laying again so bacon and egg for dinner tonight.

I can't see to find anything above a size 18 pipkin? Am I being blind?

They have a plus size section, but they are too short, and their tall section doesn't have big sizes. :(

I don't know then jaz. Try simply be, as CWTA suggested. I hope you find something. If it was jeans you were after, I would suggest buying mens, but I'm not so sure their trousers would look nice??

I do have some mens jeans, but they don't look any different to the ladies ones I wear.
