Phew! Lots of catching up, as I didn't get online yesterday. I was seriously scared that Sammy was going to leave us, too.

I'm not going to try and reply to everything, there's such a lot happened since I was last here, I'll just say that I hope everyone's as OK as they can be.

Dilly Dog has arrived for her stay; she's lovely!

I have a full suit of armour with me - I thought I might need it to go and read (and not post on) the Half Dead Thread. Wish me luck.......:D

Had a bit of an interesting day - ages ago I had an interview for three days a week. Looked an interesting job, and good wage. I didn't get it.

Then the company I worked for during the summer I was back from uni asked me back for two days a week. I do enjoy it there, and I really like my manager, but the pay isn't great.

Then today I get a phone call from the place I interviewed at offering me the job. So in an ideal world 2 + 3 = full time week. But I don't think I could handle a full time job. So I've had to ask my manager whether I can go down to one day a week, and she's thinking it over.

I feel really bad, I'm messing her around, and she's been great about me changing my days or taking time of work for all my appointments and things.

Ooh, what do I do? Even 4 days a week is going to be hard.

Both are quite temporary though - at my current job they've only secured funding for my job until April. At the new job offer I'm covering maternity leave, and have work until September. But because it's at a uni - there are long gaps of holiday without pay. So it's all complicated!

All I can hope is my current manager says okay to 1 day, and then lets me work more during the month off from the other to catch up on things. But she's well within her rights to tell me to !!!!!! off!

Sorry if no one understood this ramble!
