I hope your hands have settled down now - I find driving for any length of time affects the nerve damage I have to my right hand so sympathise. I don't like UHT but find supermarket milk lasts in my fridge for abt a week, but that milkman milk doesnt

Hope the migrane has gone too - dont have them thank God. laughed at your bed full of cats - I do have that problem

Another full day for me, discovering just how much people hate people like me who do not have any photo ID. :eek: And on top of everything else, I had a phone call from the garage to say my new car (scrappage) is in the UK. I'm surprised cos only ordered it on 8th August. Delighted to report that I shoud be able to insure it for a lot less and have saved £155 on car tax. I'm scared though cos I 've had this one 11 years and know all its little quirks and I hate change. Also scared I'll bump it

paws brain is dead ! i put a bowl of food for the hamster , by the side of kettle while making coffee , put cup out for the coffee ..got the milk out AND poured it in the hamster food !...don't think the little would eat that ! finally got it right and managed to watch a film on tv ..not being to uncomfortable..

I'm 28 and generally pi**ed off with everything. I have a blood disorder that caused some loss of sensation in my hands and feet but it's been getting worse. First thought was my medication for blood was no longer working but bloods were stable so off i trot to my neurologist who concludes I am also hyper reflexive and orders an MRI on brain and spine cord. MRI back and according to consulting some areas warent further investigation so I have to get a lumbar puncture :eek: I am terrified of needles and refused pain relief during labour for that very reason.

Anyway my hands have started to spasm alot I am often very unstable on my feet. I live in a flat but we are now having to look at bungalows because I am struggling with the stairs to our home so effectivly I am becoming housebound.

I am so so angry. I have done nothing to deserve this and the hospital/GP/Consultant seem to be powerless to stop it or even treat whatever it is.

My typing is rubbish so please ignore the whoopsies my brain goes quicker than my fingers can now a days

lilac pixie of course you may join us, everyone is welcome. sorry to hear your having such problems. i would suggest asking for sedation for the lumbar puncture and make it really clear to them that you are terrified of needles. dont worry about your typing, my typos only mostly get fixed because of the red line that identifies them in firefox these days

Hello lilac pixie, welcome!

I recently had 9 injections into my spine, and I too am not fond of needles, but don't have a full blown fear. They gave me a sedative for it, so that I honestly don't remember what happened when I was in there. As you're nervous, you could ask for one (or demand if they're being funny! ) I would def be sedated again if I have anything like that in the future.

I really hope it goes well and they sort out what's going on soon.
