'Appeth probably would've done ;) I did think that as I was typing it, but I would to go to Eire...right?

nopes, not if you go through the north, you can travel right over the border with no checks or stops or anythign these days...flying or going direct to eire its photo id you need, so your driving liscence works if its a photo card one.

    *goes to see said thread*
  • heh i was waiting for that, as i said elsewhere yesterday.
i asked soolin for a chat thread in here (not arms), to leave that one as a question and answer thread. other boards have daily chat threads which only vaguely stay on topic one post in a while....which is why i was so peeved at being told to stuff it and shut up. why do we have to go specifically to the arms when dfw and old stylers dont have to for the same thing?

This cafe was set up as a chat thread - but nobody used it properly, just silly stuff abt pretend food. The only regulars were paw, lw and dragon. I didn't post cos I'm no good on food fantacies and felt stupid chatting like that. Lets just use this place and lie low :D

  • pcl discontinued cat treats

cwta glad your dad is a bit better :j

kass no regulars to chase away ^^^ :D

My DD kicked me into going and getting my hair done at her (very expensive) hairdresser today, so I no longer look like an old english sheepdog. He has done it nicely but those chairs don't do my back any favours

Have 2 estate agent to meet tomorrow to value the house for probate - I know how to live it up don't I? ;)

Tell me about it! My hairdressers is cheaper (£38 for highlights, cut & blow...and my hair's v thick and v long) but their decor is shocking. It's one of those places you always used to be able to smoke in before the ban etc, and the chairs are very eighties. The one they put me in whilst cutting my hair isn't too bad, but the lean-back-into, cut-out-for-your-neck, sinks are terrible - always the wrong height and so are the chairs - which are always too close to said sinks. And then of course there's the water down my ears (which i can't stand, esp as I have to put ear plugs in for swimming etc) and sometimes down my neck too...:o The price of beauty eh?

  • This was £25 for a wet cut, no blow and the chair at that awful sink had a massage function in it

  • im so pleased my hairdressers are nice and though i thought they were expensive perhaps they are not (15 for a cut and blow dry for short hair). they adjust the chairs at teh sinks so you are the right distance away and the right height for the sink.

competitions....i didnt realise there would be so many listed under the recurring monthly ones. its going to take a few days to go through them all lol

ive certainly settled in here now, half dead thread can die completely. we shall see hwo long it is before they come in here and tell us off.

i found some other suppliers of them ont he webbox website, one not too far away and easy enough to get to, but i always thought it was a wholesaler place..shall pop in today and see.

when i went to bed last night whitney was curled up asleep on my spot and chloe at the bottom of the bed...chloe woke whitney up to tell her i was there and both then mewed for their treat. it was so cute.

how is lady anne doing? using the cat flap and coming and going as she should now?

hope everyone had a decent night.
