Ally - Is that due to working tax credit with the disability element? If you don't mind saying. I'm in the same situation, working more hours isn't financially worthwhile but I think that's a good thing for me because working more hours makes me more ill - so it eases the guilt.

No, it's cos my partner's self-employed and has a private income plan. It's really complicated!!! I just think that no-one should have to work six day weeks. You need to rest now and again!

:jGreat news Ally. You can at least look for something better in your own good time, not have to report to the [STRIKE]hellhole[/STRIKE] jobcentre.

I can uncross my paws now!:D

Well done Ally, now you can look for something else in your own time - and at least you now know that you could go part-time if you wish, and spend your spare time doing something that brings you more pleasure.

Morning, hope you're all feeling well today. Anyone got anything nice planned?

hope you're feeling much better now and Ally, glad to hear your news, its good that you can take your time to find a job you like.

I've had my consultant appt and I have Menieres, which is what my Dr and I suspected. Its a relief that it has a name now and medication will help so I'm quite relieved really.

I'll be back later for a cuppa, have a good day all ;)

Morning all (I think its still morning )

Hope everyone is as well as they can be today.

I'll just give the tables a quick wipe over, and then get myself a large mug of coffee.

I've brought gooseberry pie, if anyone'd like some. There's fresh cream to go with it.

I'm glad you have a diagnosis as well - it is horrible when you don't and people think you are malingering
