which means he could have easily broken it, then claimed otherwise. I tested it before sending, however i have no proof. I have emails of him saying it worked, then another one from when all the problems started.0

good advice, next time he says anything ill tell him that. Also it still has 12 months warranty which is a bonus if there is anything wrong with it.0

looks like a complete scam to me, he has now emailed me saying that the phone does not work, and will accept credit for £350 for my troubles.
Ive asked for the IME number on the phone, and definantly wont pay until i receive the phone back.
If it is genuinely broken is there anything i can do to protect myself as the phone was definantly working when i sent it to him? I feel like telling him to go to the O2 store and sort it out himself.0 -

ok now i have a problem. He returned the phone to me, i tried to verify the IME number on the phone, however i can't because it genuinely does not turn on:mad: and now he wants a refund, even though i have messages from him saying it was working initially. I believe he has done something to it and to my knowledge there is no way to confirm the IME number if the phone doesn't turn on.
I cannot use warranty as i jail broke the phone initially, and until i can restore the software it will void all warranty. I believe that this guy is trying to screw me over, any advice on what to do as i believe paypal will go in his favour. The only thing i can think of is to shut my paypal account down and go in to hiding.0
