My dad bought an x3 from stratstone BMW. It had only done a couple of thousand miles. It was advertised at £10k less than brand new price. The salesmen was very eager to complete the sale by the end of the month so my dad managed to get a cd changer thrown in and also had it retrimmed in leather for free!

Was stood at BCA today at the BMW sale and was funny watching most of the big stuff flop!! 06 plate 730i with 26,000miles sell for 13500 lol!

so should i go in with a silly offer, even tho this is a main bmw dealer?

go to someone who isn't a main dealer. Someone with lower over heads etc...

He didnt but the retrim would have cost him a good couple of thousand to get done so that kind of was his discount.

He also blew the turbo a few months ago and because of the warranty got that completely replaced. Definitely pays to buy straight from BMW.

but that will sit on a forecourt at £15.5k or so surely?

good prices for cars that assuming nothing goes wrong, are top quality.
